Ella Vivian Colwell, daughter of the late Raymond DeJournett and Vivian Swan Rogers was born on July 18, 1929, in Clines Island, Missouri, and departed this life on February 5, 2022, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 92 years.

Mrs. Colwell was a former employee of International Hat Company in St. Louis, Missouri and was a resident of Bernie, Missouri.

On October 15, 1972, in St. Louis Missouri she was united in marriage to Robert Colwell. Mr. Colwell preceded her in death on April 21, 1981.

She is survived by three sons, Richard Wooldridge (Debbie) of Imperial, Missouri, James Wooldridge (Cheryl) of Antonio, Missouri, and Bobby Wooldridge (Sheryl) of Bernie, Missouri; by her brother, Larry Rogers of Dexter; by two sisters; Doris Zillich of Davison, Michigan, and Bertha Johnson of Bloomfield, Missouri; and by five grandchildren, thirteen great - grandchildren and by two great-great grandchildren.

Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son Charles Wooldridge; two brothers, JD DeJournett, and Raymond DeJournett; by one sister, Ettie Mayo; by one grandchild, Darius Wooldridge; one great-grandchild, Sky Wooldridge; and by one daughter- in- law; Linda Wooldridge.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral Services will then be conducted on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Travis Lambert officiating.

Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery.
