Linda McCarty, daughter of the late Jack Acup and Pauline Jackson Acup was born on February 5, 1954 in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on December 29, 2021 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 67.
Mrs. McCarty had worked at the housing authority and was a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Dan McCarty. Mr. McCarty survives of their home in Bloomfield.
Other than by her husband Dan, she is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Puckett and husband Joel of Salem, Illinois; by two grandchildren, Alexandria Benson and her fiancé, Caleb Williams both of Salem, Illinois and Dylan Benson and wife Breanna of Herrin, Illinois; by two great grandchildren, Ayden and Ellis; by one sister, Wanda Harris of Bloomfield, Missouri; by three brothers, Todd Ingram of Michigan, Ronnie Acup of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Terry Box of Columbia, South Carolina.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Johnny Williamson.

Misty LaDawn Reynolds, daughter of Dawn Mayo Towe and the late Clifford Simptkins Sr., was born on December 18, 1983, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and departed this life on December 29, 2021, at Southeast Health of Stoddard County, in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 38 years.
Mrs. Reynolds was an employee of Tyson Foods in Dexter, Missouri. She was a graduate of John 3:17 ministries and a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri.
She is survived by her mother, Dawn Towe and Jim Corzine of Bloomfield, Missouri; by her son, Landon Ellsworth of Dexter, Missouri, by her daughter, Kaylee Ellsworth of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, Clifford Simptkins of Bloomfield, Missouri and David Simptkins of Dexter, Missouri, by her paternal grandmother, Evelyn Crump of Bloomfield, Missouri; by her step-brother, Jeremy Corzine of Scott City, Missouri; by three step-sisters, Jennifer Towe of St. Petersburg, Florida, Jessica Towe of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Jessica Reed of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two aunts and uncles, Claudine and Jim Walton of Sikeston, Missouri and Debbie and Ronnie Cheatman of Sikeston, Missouri; and by many nieces and nephews.
Other than by her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Claude & Ettie Mayo, and by her step-father, Alvin Towe.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Woodell.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Mary Lou Daun, 85, passed away on December 26, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. Mary Lou was born December 27, 1935, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to William Robert Kleffer and Jeanetta Watson Kleffer. Mary Lou married Frank Daun, who proceeded her in death in 2002.
Mary Lou worked as an Office Administrator for a nursing home facility for many years until her retirement. She was a long-time member of Sadler’s Chapel Church in Dexter, Missouri. Since moving to Marion, Illinois, to be near her family, she has been attending Second Baptist Church and also attended a ladies Bible study group at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She made many close friends at both churches.
Mary Lou was a faithful servant of the Lord and spent her birthday this year celebrating with Jesus. She was an amazing cook and sincere friend to many.
Mary Lou is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Michele Daun of Marion, Illinois, and her grandchildren, Alexis and Rachel Daun, also of Marion, Illinois. She was also blessed to have numerous cousins scattered throughout many states.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jeanetta Kleffer of Dexter, Missouri and her brother, Eugene Roy Kleffer, formerly of Dexter, Missouri.
There will be a time of visitation held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sadler’s Chapel Church in Dexter, Missouri. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor C. E. Tuley officiating. Burial will be at the Dexter Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Sadler’s Chapel Church in Dexter, Missouri.
Katherine Diane Baker of Dexter Missouri, daughter of the late Harold Eugene and Darlene Marie (Osborn) Freeman born on December 24, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri passed away on January 02, 2022 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 71 years.
She lived in the Dexter area most of her life. Katherine enjoyed fishing, cooking and volunteer at the Church of God in Dexter, Missouri where she was a member.
Katherine married Wayne Baker on October 14, 1968 in Qulin, Missouri. Katherine is survived by her husband Wayne Baker; one son Timothy Baker of Bernie, Missouri; two daughters Maria ( Nathan) Stevens of Dexter, Missouri and Darla (James Ferguson) Barber of Fenton, Missouri; seven grandchildren Torrie Marie Hyten, Caleb Andrew Baker, Preston Lee Barber, Zachary Eugene Barber, Jeaira Diane Barber, Cody Wayne Stevens and Ethan Lee Stevens; three great grandchildren Grace Elizabeth Hyten, Luke Hyten and John Hyten; two brothers Harold Eugene (Sherry) Freeman of Dexter, Missouri and Ronald David (Marilyn) Lacy of Dexter, Missouri; one sister Rhonda (Darrell) Cochran of Kansas City, Missouri; one step sister Diana (Robert) Barr of Dexter, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Darlene Freeman; one grandson Joshua Allan Stevens and one step brother Scott Duncan. A host of family and friends also survive.

Myrl Louise Feece of Dexter, Mo., was born in Winamac, Indiana, on April 10, 1953, the daughter of Murle Allen and Goldie May Hendrickson White.
She departed life on December 16, 2021, at her son’s home in Dexter.
She married Gregory Alan Feece and they were parents to two sons, William and James.
She enjoyed reading and social media, along with cell phone gaming. When she was able she did yard work and tended flowers. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her two sons: William (Danielle) Feece of Dexter and James (Tracey) Feece of Huntington, Indiana; a brother, Allen White of Winamac; two sisters: Pat Deka of Mishawaka, Indiana, and Joyce Thomas of Winamac; and seven grandchildren: Matthew Hudgins, Brittnee Hudgins, Joyce Feece, Drew Cook, Jaden Feece, Jeremiah Feece and Jacob Feece. Her husband preceded her in death on July 24, 2020.
A Memorial Service will be held at a future date.
