Linda McCarty, daughter of the late Jack Acup and Pauline Jackson Acup was born on February 5, 1954 in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on December 29, 2021 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 67.

Mrs. McCarty had worked at the housing authority and was a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Dan McCarty. Mr. McCarty survives of their home in Bloomfield.

Other than by her husband Dan, she is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Puckett and husband Joel of Salem, Illinois; by two grandchildren, Alexandria Benson and her fiancé, Caleb Williams both of Salem, Illinois and Dylan Benson and wife Breanna of Herrin, Illinois; by two great grandchildren, Ayden and Ellis; by one sister, Wanda Harris of Bloomfield, Missouri; by three brothers, Todd Ingram of Michigan, Ronnie Acup of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Terry Box of Columbia, South Carolina.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Johnny Williamson.
