Katherine Diane Baker of Dexter Missouri, daughter of the late Harold Eugene and Darlene Marie (Osborn) Freeman born on December 24, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri passed away on January 02, 2022 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 71 years.
She lived in the Dexter area most of her life. Katherine enjoyed fishing, cooking and volunteer at the Church of God in Dexter, Missouri where she was a member.
Katherine married Wayne Baker on October 14, 1968 in Qulin, Missouri. Katherine is survived by her husband Wayne Baker; one son Timothy Baker of Bernie, Missouri; two daughters Maria ( Nathan) Stevens of Dexter, Missouri and Darla (James Ferguson) Barber of Fenton, Missouri; seven grandchildren Torrie Marie Hyten, Caleb Andrew Baker, Preston Lee Barber, Zachary Eugene Barber, Jeaira Diane Barber, Cody Wayne Stevens and Ethan Lee Stevens; three great grandchildren Grace Elizabeth Hyten, Luke Hyten and John Hyten; two brothers Harold Eugene (Sherry) Freeman of Dexter, Missouri and Ronald David (Marilyn) Lacy of Dexter, Missouri; one sister Rhonda (Darrell) Cochran of Kansas City, Missouri; one step sister Diana (Robert) Barr of Dexter, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Darlene Freeman; one grandson Joshua Allan Stevens and one step brother Scott Duncan. A host of family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 05, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday January 05, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Brother Charlie Robertson officiating and Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
