In Memory of Edna Mae Easley

Edna Mae Easley, daughter of the late Alvin James Willis and Gladys May Lowey Willis was born on May 15, 1926 in Doniphan, Missouri and departed this life on December 10, 2021 at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 95 years.

Mrs. Easley was a former Homemaker and was a resident of Bernie.

On February 6, 1952, in East Prairie, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Charles Easley. Mr. Easley preceded her in death in 1962.

She is survived by one son; Charles David Easley of East Prairie; by one daughter, Velma Jean Lambert Cobb of Bernie; by two sisters, Emma Sue McGill of Anniston, Missouri and Lorene Newberry of Jacksonville, Florida; by ten grandchildren and sixteen great – grandchildren.

Other than by her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; James Willis and Rayburn Willis, by five sisters; Kristin Willis Mickey, Irene Howton, Daisy Williams, Mary Willis, and Sarah Poe, and by two grandchildren; David Allen Williams and Sherry Ann Cobb.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted at the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Daniel Easley officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
