2021 Bernie Hits for Hope Donation to 18Fore Life

On October 5th, the Bernie High School Volleyball teams hosted the "Hits for Hope" game against Twin Rivers.  The team, parents, volunteers, and others raised money for the 18 Fore Life Foundation.  They sold baked goods, conducted a silent auction, had a Mr. Bernie contest, and sold luminaries in honor of those that are or have battled cancer.  The game was also dedicated to current Bernie senior, Kagean Owens, who is currently battling Leukemia.  18 Fore Life sent a love offering to Kagean that night to help with her ongoing medical expenses. The final total for the event was $5,000 that the team presented to the 18 Fore Life Foundation.  Mr. Scott Kruse came down to accept the check on behalf of the foundation.
