Sikeston, MO - The Dexter Bearcat Wrestling Team opened their season at Sikeston on Tuesday, November 30th with a dual split. They defeated DeSoto 48-28 and lost to Sikeston 57-23.
The Bearcats (1-1) will meet New Madrid County Central in a dual match at 6 p.m. Dec. 7th.
Sikeston beat Dexter 54-6 in the girls match.

Sikeston, MO - The defending SEMO Conference Boys Basketball champion the New Madrid County Central Eagles has been named the top seed for the 2021 tournament.
Jackson seeded second followed by #3 Cape Central, #4 Charleston, #5 Sikeston, #6 Poplar Bluff, #7 Notre Dame, #8 Dexter, and #9 Kennett.
This is a 9 team double-elimination tournament which begins on Monday, December 6th and will be held at the Sikeston Field House.
