Brian Scott Anthony, son of Inis Jone Hathaway Anthony and the late Jimmie Wayne Anthony Sr. was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on April 14, 1968 and departed this life at his residence in Rural Dexter, Missouri on September 19, 2021 at the age of 53.

Scott enjoyed the outside and especially loved fishing.

Survivors include his mother, Jone Anthony of Dexter, Missouri; one brother, Jimmie Wayne Anthony Jr of Dexter, Missouri; one sister, Stacey Jean Ward & husband Brian of Leslie, Arkansas; by nieces and nephews by other relatives and friends.

Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dale Hartle officiating.

A Private burial will be at Gregory-Landcastor Cemetery in Rural Dexter, Missouri.
