In Memory of Marilyn Derosia

Marilyn Derosia, daughter of the late Buck Stinnett and Evelyn Dement Stinnett, was born on December 16, 1955, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on July 20, 2021, at her residence in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 65 years.

Mrs. Derosia was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, telling stories, jewelry, music, and dancing. To her grandchildren, she was their “Mimi”, their rock, their everything, and she loved them dearly.

She was united in marriage to John Derosia on January 23, 2002, in Paragould, Arkansas. Mr. Derosia preceded her in death on August 25, 2018.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy McCluskey (Chris) of St. Johns, Arizona; by her daughter Dawn Snider (Stanley) of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, Edward Stinnett (Brenda) of Morehouse, Missouri, and John Harvey (Linda) of Bloomfield, Missouri; by six grandchildren, Jammi Scoggins (Levi) of Branson, Missouri, Emily Mace of Dexter, Missouri, Chelsea Mace (Adrian) of Puxico, Missouri, Cameron Fernandes, Richard Fernandes, and Robert Fernandes, all of St. Johns, Arizona; and by eight great-grandchildren, Jaylynn Mace, Serenity Schmidt, Rayne Schmidt, Khaleesi Robertson, LeeAnn Mace, Haylee Mace, Shyla Mace, and Valerie Scoggins.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, July 25, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is assisting with arrangements.
