David Paul Crews, son of the late Herschel Crews Sr. and Naomi Mae Gilbow Crews, was born on June 6, 1949, in Wardell, Missouri, and departed this life on July 8, 2021, at his residence in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 72 years.

Mr. Crews was a former landscaper. He was of the Christian faith and attended Faith Fellowship Church in Dexter. David was a jokester and a champion checkers player.

He is survived by two brothers, Don Crews of Dexter, Missouri and Herschel Crews Jr. and wife Jean of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by six sisters, Becky Beard and Mary Jane Jenkins and husband Jerry, all of Dexter, Missouri, Jane Townsend of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Doris Chase of Lone Oak, Arkansas, Ginny Brown of Memphis, Tennessee, and Peggy Nevels of Wappapello, Missouri.
