
John Wayne Tatum, son of the late John and Mary Lucille Blackwell Tatum, was born January 19, 1956, in Anniston, Missouri and departed this life on June 11, 2021 at his home in Anniston at the age of 65 years.
John Wayne was self-employed truck driver for many years before going to drive for Edwards Transportation in East Prairie until his health forced him to retire.
He is survived by two sons, Johnny Tatum of East Prairie; Joshua and (Brittany) Tatum of Anniston; two daughters, Tara Tatum (Tre Hammontree) of East Prairie Missouri, and Sarah (Josh) Mobley of Sikeston, Missouri; one brother, Charles Allen (Nancy)Tatum of Charleston, Mo; two sisters, Delores Hutson of Red Oak, Texas and Mary Ann (Dennis) Rolwing of Cleveland, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Emily, Saylor and Storey Hutchason, Stryker and Lettie Mobley, Grae Tatum and Ivy Tatum.
Pallbearers will be J.C. Coke, Josh Mobley, Tyler Branam, David Sterling, Keith Edwards and Tre Hammontree.
Visitation will be conducted Monday June 14, 2021, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at First General Baptist Church in East Prairie with Brother Martin Lucas officiating.
Interment will follow at Anniston Cemetery in Anniston, Missouri.

Brenda Johnson, 59 of Puxico, Missouri passed away June 13, 2021. She was born to the late Mertice Johnson and Rosa Lee Lacovoli on August 18, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Brenda worked as an aide at the Puxico Nursing Home. She was of the Christian faith.
Brenda is survived by her two sons Christopher Baker of Puxico, Missouri; Darrell Johnson of Bell City, Missouri; long time companion William Baker; five grandchildren; three sisters Vicki Johnson, Annette Johnson, and Lucial Johnson Bryant; two brothers Nick Johnson and Mike Johnson. A host of family and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Larry Jones, son of the late James Mack Jones and Dorothy Pearl Ivey, was born on March 18, 1950, in Decaturville, Tennessee, and departed this life on June 9, 2021, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 71 years.
Mr. Jones was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was an outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish. He liked trading and selling anything on wheels including vehicles and campers.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Brian Jones of Dexter, Missouri; by two daughters, Melissa Renee Jones of Dexter, Missouri, and Jamie Lynne Jones of Naylor, Missouri; one sister, Barbara James Vaughn of Pikeville, Tennessee; by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Other than by his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Kay Jones; by one brother, Michael Keith Jones and by one grandson, Devin Christopher Jones.
Visitation will be conducted on Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 14, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.

Geneva Lois Grim, daughter of the late Roy Emmett Underwood and Josie Ann Quick Underwood, was born on December 6, 1928, in Bloomfield, Missouri, and departed this life on June 8, 2021, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 92 years.
Mrs. Grim was a former employee of Elder’s Manufacturing in Dexter and Wal-Mart; also, she had worked in the fabric department at Weber’s Ben Franklin.
On June 18, 1946, in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Floyd E. Grim. Mr. Grim preceded her in death on July 8, 2010.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Tammy Harris and her husband Chris of Dexter, and Dana Tellman of Dexter; by her brother, Steve Underwood and his wife Joyce of Bloomfield; by her son-in-law, Danny Harty of Dexter; by her sister-in-law, Imogene Underwood of Bloomfield; and by five great-grandchildren, Nicholas Harris, Gerica Harris, Kyle Tellman, Kolten Tellman, and Blake Woodruff.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra K. Harty; by her step-mother, Norma Woodiel; by three brothers, Elmer Underwood, Delmer Underwood, and John Henry Underwood; by two sisters, Wilma Morrow and Francis Berry; and by two grandchildren, Ginelle Mitchell and Michelle Mitchell.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Steve Tippen officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Scottie Lee Jarrell of Dexter, Missouri, son of the late Carl Otto Jarrell and Virginia Sue (Ferguson) Jarrell was born October 27, 1958 and passed away November 8, 2020 at the Missouri Delta Hospital in Sikeston Missouri at the age of 62 years old.
Scott married Pamela Crutchfield on June 15,1984 and during this marriage they had one daughter name Rachel Lynn.
Scott lived in Dexter most of his life and enjoyed his dogs and helping people when he could.
Surviving him are his daughter Rachel (Tim) Hester of Versailles MO. Four granddaughters Ryleigh of Malden and Raylynn Abbigale and Emmalee all of Versailles MO. One sister Jan Davis of Dexter MO. Two brothers Richard Jarrell and Gordon (Tina) Jarrell of Dexter MO. Three Aunts Ruth Ann (James) Rickett, Patty (Huston) Lynn and Betty Tipton all from the state of Michigan. One sister in law Sandy Norman from Michigan. Four nieces Jennifer Herrea from Michigan and Amy Brakhane, Kellie Patterson and Kala Tate all from the state of Missouri. Five nephews Casey Jarrell, Jeff Davis and Dakota Southerland all from the state of Missouri and Jeremy and John Norman from the state of Michigan. He also has many great nieces and nephews. Rachel's mother Pamela Harris from Benton Mo and a very special friend/brother Ray (Jennette) Jones from Dexter MO.
He was preceded in death by is parents Carl and Virginia Jarrell. His paternal grandparents Elijah and Bessie Jarrell. His maternal grandparents George and Ethel Ferguson. One brother Jerry (Jarrell) Norman. One brother in law Jerry Davis and One sister in law Karen Jarrell as well as many aunts and uncles.
There will be an memorial service held for Scott at 3pm July 18, 2021 on the family farm.
Scott was cremated and his ashes will remain with his daughter.
