
Margrettia Lorene Throgmorton daughter of the late Charles Lee Stoker and Iva Gilbert Stoker was born on January 22, 1925 in Bernie, Missouri and departed this life on May 14, 2021 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter at the age of 96.
Mrs. Throgmorton was a member of the Hill Church in rural Bloomfield and was a resident of Bloomfield. She was a hard worker and worked numerous jobs including twenty-one years at Elders, twenty-nine years at International Hat Factory and four years at McDonalds.
On October 28, 1944 she was united in marriage to Lowell Throgmorton in Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Throgmorton preceded her in death on August 13, 2003.
She is survived by one son, Randy Throgmorton of Bloomfield, Missouri; by one daughter, Shirley and husband Kenny Carney of Bloomfield, Missouri; by one brother, Thomas Stoker of Bearden, Arkansas; by two grandchildren, Jeana and husband John Brownback, Jeff and wife Rhonda Carney; by seven great-grandchildren, Jeremy Carney, Colton Byram, Rachel Brownback, Trevor Brownback, Casey Evans and his wife Brittany, Tylee Evans, and Shyanne Evans; by one great-great granddaughter, River Evans; by one care taker, Robin Liden and by two special friends, Sue Tippen and Beverly O’Daniel.
Other then by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers, Chester Stoker, Paul Stoker, Roy Stoker, Junior Stoker, Hubert Stoker, O’Dell Stoker, Dennis Stoker, Robert Stoker and Carroll Stoker; and by seven sisters, Dorothy Blunt, Betty Taylor, Christine Davis, Mae Warden, Bobbie Ghilieri, Effie Foster and Amy Stoker.
Visitation will be conducted on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Steve Tippen and Rev. Rick Roberts officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
