Lucas Aaron Cope, son of James Cope and Denise Woods Cope of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, was born on March 3, 1992 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and departed this life on March 11, 2021 in Wappapello, Missouri, at the age of 29 years.
Mr. Cope was an employee of Tyson in Dexter, Missouri and a resident of Puxico, Missouri.
On October 11, 2015, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Autumn Dabbs. Mrs. Cope survives of their home in Puxico.
In addition to his wife, Autumn, and his parents, James and Denise, he is survived by his son Ronan Cope of Puxico, and by his sister, Amy Cope of Poplar Bluff.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

James Gilbert Woolard, son of the late Frank Woolard and Lois Morgan Woolard, was born on August 19, 1942 in Redd, Missouri and departed this life on March 11, 2021 at his residence in Puxico, Missouri, at the age of 78 years.
Mr. Woolard was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1964 to 1966, and he was a farmer all his life.
On May 19, 1969, he was united in marriage to Edwina Rowland. Mrs. Woolard survives of their home in Puxico.
In addition to his wife, Edwina, he is survived by two sons, Douglas Wade Woolard (Rachel) and James Darrin Woolard (Sheri Poole), all of Puxico, Missouri; by two daughters, Gillian Nicole Manuel (Russell Taylor) of Dudley, Missouri, and LaRonda Renee Helland (Luther) of Metropolis, Illinois; by two brothers, Kim Woolard of Piedmont, Missouri and Vaden Woolard of Potosi, Missouri; by six sisters, Annetta Carter (Paul) of Topeka, Kansas, Faye Keathley (Bud) of Farmington, Missouri, Daphne Richardson (Jim) of French Town, Montana, Reba Lam (Ben) of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Renee Hunt (Rob) of Topeka, Kansas; by eleven grandchildren, Tyler Wade Woolard (Samantha), Jamie Renee Manuel, Dalton Gene Manuel, Wyatt Justin Helland, Madison Nacole Hunerkoch, Rhett James Helland, Shelby Renee Woolard, Sara Ashley Woolard, Garrett Randall Hunerkoch, Kegahn Charles Helland, and Elizabeth James Woolard; and by several nieces and nephews.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sammy Woolard; and by his sister, Velma Stewart.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. with Rev. Ray Placher officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., with full military honors.

Marsha Dianna Jones, daughter of the late Paul Treece and Lilly Spencer Treece, was born on December 17, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri, and departed this life on March 9, 2021 at her residence in Bloomfield, Missouri, at the age of 64 years.
Mrs. Jones was a former cook for Fuwell’s Residential Care in Bloomfield.
She is survived by three sons, John Reuben Jones of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Roy Jones of St. Louis, Missouri, and Hillis Elles of St. Louis, Missouri; by her daughter, Mary Roberts of Bloomfield, Missouri; by her brother, Wayne Treece of San Antonio, Texas; by four sisters by Brenda LaRue and Sandra Treece, both of Iowa, Beverly Ridenhour of Puxico, Missouri, and Rhonda Holt of Duck Creek, Missouri; by twenty-one grandchildren, and by two great grandchildren.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Treece; and by her sister, Bonnie Green.

James Hamlin of Wappapello, Missouri was born to the late Paul and Mary Moore Hamlin on February 14, 1937 in Zalma, Missouri and passed away on March 7, 2021 in Puxico Nursing Center in Puxico, Missouri.
James had been a resident of Wappapello, Missouri since 1957. He enjoyed hunting, and fishing.
James was married to Berta Lee Hale on March 11, 1957 in Arab, Missouri and she survives of the home.
Surviving are his one son Randy and wife Kelly Hamlin of Lucas, Texas; one granddaughter Jennifer Hamlin of Emory, Texas; one great grandson Landry of Emory Texas; three brothers Mikel Hamlin of O'Fallon, Missouri Jerry Hamlin of Advance, Missouri and Bill Hamlin of Maro, Illinois: one sister Pamela Brinker of St. Charles, Missouri. James was preceded in death by two brothers Tommy and Terry and four sisters Patsy, Linda, Brenda and Mable. A host of family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 12, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
Services to be held on Friday March 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Womack Cemetery with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.

Ronald Wade Mays son of the late Ottis Dee Mays and Zelma Marie Venable Mays, was born in Spokane, Washington on July 25, 1953 and departed this life at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on March 8, 2021 at the age of 67.
Mr. Mays was a farmer and a member of Bernie Church of Christ. He really enjoyed fishing with his Brother-in-law, David Burleson.
He was united in marriage to Sonja Nelson in Bernie, Missouri on December 17, 1977. Mrs. Mays survives in their home in Bernie.
Other survivors include one son, Derek Wade Mays of Bernie, Missouri; by two brothers, Kevin Mays & wife Robin of Bernie, Missouri and Jonathan Mays & wife Ashley of Paragould, Arkansas; by one sister, Cindy Burleson & husband David of Bernie, Missouri; by one grandchild, Kinley Frields of Dexter, Missouri; also by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by one sister, Pam Pearce.
Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Funeral services will then be conducted at 12:00 P.M. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel with Stan Dauck officiating. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
