Dexter, MO - The Dexter Middle School 8th Grade Volleyball team will start their season at home against Bloomfield on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the T.S. Hill Middle School gym.

Head coach Kacey Christian and asst. coach Jennifer Bolin expect and exciting season for the little Lady Cats. They have 12 athletes playing.

"This group had a shortened 7th grade season due to COVID-19, so when our season rolled around again, they were ready to go," commented Christian. "They right jumped in and started working very hard trying to make up for lost time. I was amazed how hard they worked in the off-season with limited playing opportunities."

"They all love the game and it's visible. We are ready to get a full season in this year and show what we can do!"

Managers are Aundrea Hernandez and Sophia James.

The 8th grade team consists of #2 Averee Ackman, #4 Avery Riley, #6 Kate Nichols, #7 Carly Patterson, #8 Rylee Dawson, #9 Cali White, #10 Emma Pennington, #12 Elizabeth Bolin, #14 Kinley Kennedy, #18 Febe Worley, #20 Maddie Sutton, and #24 Kenady Krapf.

Mon 3/8 vs Jackson(home) 5:30 p.m.

Tues 3/9 @ Richland 6 p.m.
