T.S. Hill Middle School 2021 7th Grade Volleyball Team Schedule

Dexter, MO - The Dexter Middle School 7th Grade Volleyball team will start their season at home against Bloomfield on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the T.S. Hill Middle School gym.  

Head coach Kacey Christian and asst. coach Jennifer Bolin expect and exciting season for the little Lady Cats.  They have 12 athletes playing.

"This group of girls have been eager to get into the gym since day one and learn the game," commented Christian.  "They have a lot to learn and have been working very hard.  They are getting better with each day."

"Because of the snow, I had to throw a lot at them quickly and they caught on fast!  We are excited to start our games and to continue to grow as individuals and as a team."

The 7th grade team consists of #1 Klair Essner, #5 Emily Bolin, #11 Meredith Nea, #13 Madison Creado, #15 Elizabeth Norris, #17 Karis Kennedy, #22 Blair Medley, #23 Lauren Sindle, #25 Cali Comfort, #27 Mattie Thompson, and #28 Keeleight Flanigan.

Dexter Wrestlers Headed to 2021 State Tournament

Ste. Genevieve, MO - Eric Harmon, Diego McCormick and Alex Townsend from Dexter High School wrestling team qualified for the state tournament Saturday at Ste. Genevieve High School.  The three Bearcats will advance to the MSHSAA Class 2 Wrestling Championships set for March 11, 2021 at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri.

Diego McCormick placed 3rd at 113 lbs, Eric Harmon 3rd at 120 lbs, and Alex Townsend was Sectional Champion at 170 lbs. 

The top three finishers in each weight class at Saturday’s sectional tournament advanced to state.

106 Chase Berry (10-14) did not place. Quarterfinal: Michael Martin (Owensville) def. Berry by fall, 1:07. Consolation Round 1: John Johnson (Sullivan) def. Berry by fall, 17 seconds.

113 Diego McCormick (17-14) placed third. Quarterfinal: McCormick def. Robert Coello (Owensville) by fall, 3:27. Semifinal: Creek Hughes (St. Clair) def. McCormick by fall, 5:50. 2021 C4D1 Boys Basketball Tournament Seeds Released

New Madrid County Central earned the top seed in the MSHSAA Class 4, District 1 Boys Basketball Tournament that is slated to begin Saturday, February 27, 2021.

The Dexter Bearcats earned the #2 spot followed by #3 Doniphan, #4 Kelly, and #5 Kennett.

First-round play begins on Saturday, February 27th, the semifinals will be March 1st and 2nd and the Championship game will be 

First-round games will be Feb. 27, the semifinals will be March 2nd and the championship games are set for March 5th.

Saturday, Feb. 27th Kennett at Kelly 6 p.m.

Tuesday, March 2nd winner of the Kelly/Kennett game at New Madrid County Central, 7 p.m.

Tuesday, March 2nd Doniphan at Dexter, 7 p.m.

Friday, March 5th Championship, 7 p.m., at the Dexter Bearcat Event Center
