In Memory of Larry Dean Logan

Larry Dean Logan was born August 13, 1939 near Bernie, Missouri, to the late Chelsie Lee Logan and Tressie Causbie Logan and departed this life on December 17, 2020 at Select Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 81.

On January 26, 1963, he married Bonnie Kifer, who survives. His three daughters and their husbands also survive; Deanna and Danny Burke of Rogersville, Missouri, Lisa and Kevin Spitzer of Malden, Missouri, and Lana and Tim Temples of Dexter, Missouri. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Dustin Burke, Devon Gengler, Lari Jean Hardin and Tucker Temples, and by two great- grandchildren; Chloe and Wyatt Burke.

Mr. Logan worked many years as a young man for Jack Estes and Marshall Vowels of Vowels Tire and Appliance in Dexter. He opened Four County Farm Center in Malden in the early 1970’s, retiring in 1996.

Mr. Logan attended Bernie General Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Sunday, December 20, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with graveside services immediately following at the Bernie Cemetery.

Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie is in charge of arrangements.
