Gail Ben Kirkpatrick, son of the late Benjamin Kirkpatrick and Zola Viola Statler Kirkpatrick, was born in Sturdivant, Missouri on July 24, 1933, and departed this life at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri on November 24, 2020 at the age of 87.

Mr. Kirkpatrick served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, later he was a Carpenter and handy man. He was a member of Sunnyvale Church of Rural Malden, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Kathryn Owens in Geneva, Illinois on August 25, 1956. Mrs. Kirkpatrick survives in their home in Bernie.

Other survivors include one son, Terry Ben Kirkpatrick & wife Kathy of Bernie; by one daughter, Linda Sanders & husband Charles of Bernie; by Ten grandchildren, Kristen Moore, Trey Kirkpatrick, Cassie Grammer, Ben Kirkpatrick, Steven Kirkpatrick, Dallas Kirkpatrick, Sierra Kirkpatrick, Chris Bryant, Caleb Williamson and Tiffaney Sanders; by several Great-Grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by one son, Harold Dewayne Kirkpatrick; by two brothers, Franklin D. Kirkpatrick and Edward Kirkpatrick.

Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M.

Funeral services will then be conducted at 2:00 P.M. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Hamlett and Rev. Everett Owens officiating.

Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
