In Memory of Iva Jean Bay

Iva Jean Bay, daughter of the late Arvil Wilson and Mary Jane Riddle Wilson, was born on February 9, 1946 in Mount Judea, Arkansas, and departed this life on September 22, 2020 at Southeast Health of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 74 years, due to COVID-19.

Mrs. Bay was a former production worker for Tyson Foods and she had worked for Allen Christian and American Steakhouse.  She was a member of the Bernie Assembly of God Church in Bernie, Missouri and she was a resident of Dexter, Missouri.

She is survived by three sons, Jerry McCulley and his wife Melisa of Malden, Missouri, Brian McCulley of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Scott McCulley of Dexter, Missouri; by her daughter, Kim McCulley of Dexter, Missouri; by three brothers, Dennis Wilson of Dexter, Missouri, Carl Wilson of Sikeston, Missouri, and David Wilson of Warrior, Alabama; by four sisters, Louise Sharp and Irene Traughber, both of Yellville, Arkansas, Kathie Parker of Malden, Missouri, and Earlene Warren of Tonopah, Arizona; by eight grandchildren, Ashley Boyce, Aaron Smiley, Anthony Smiley, Kaleb McCulley, Karson McCulley, Kylie McCulley, Caitlyn Whittemore, and Courtney McCulley; and by four great-grandchildren, Skyla Boyce, Allyssa Boyce, Elizabeth Noble, and Colton Noble.

Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wilson, and by her sister, Geneva Sweet.

Visitation will be held and Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. 

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Bill Pennington officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.
