Dora Sophia Baker, daughter of the late Henry Wauer and Clare Ossenfort Wauer, was born on February 19, 1930 in Essex, Missouri, and departed this life on August 28, 2020 at Woodlake Nursing Home in Clute, Texas, at the age of 90 years.
Mrs. Baker was a former employee of the Brown Shoe Company.
She was united in marriage to Johnie Baker on December 22, 1951 in Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Baker preceded her in death on March 31, 2003.
She is survived by her son, Larry Baker and wife Cheryl of Richwood, Texas; by two grandchildren; and by six great-grandchildren.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Watkins officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Wesley Paul Bates, son of David Keller and Audrey Hyten Keller of Bernie, Missouri, was born on July 20, 1981 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on September 1, 2020 at his residence in Bernie at the age of 39.
Wesley was a member of the Life 360 Church in Dexter. He worked at Faurecia as a welder and was a resident of Bernie, Missouri.
On May 26, 2012 he was united in marriage to Kristy Barnes in Dexter, Missouri. Mrs. Bates survives of their residence in Bernie.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by one sister, Brandy McCoy and her husband Jaime of Springhill, Kansas; and by two nieces, Kassie McCoy of Lawrence, Kansas and Sarah McCoy of Springhill, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his biological father.
Visitation will be conducted at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Kent Kassinger officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.

Linda Lee DeWitt, daughter of the late Frank Mitchell and Inez Wilson Mitchell, was born on March 6, 1940 in Grayridge, Missouri and departed this life on September 1, 2020 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri, at the age of 80 years.
Mrs. DeWitt was a member of the Church of Christ in Essex, Missouri, she was a homemaker and a resident of Essex.
She was united in marriage to Herschel DeWitt on May 23, 1958 in Bloomfield, Missouri. Mr. DeWitt preceded her in death on November 9, 2005.
She is survived by her son, Bradley DeWitt and wife Jacinda of Bloomfield; by her daughter, Donna Groves and husband Jimmy of Morehouse; by two sisters, Barbara Fowler and husband Mike of Essex and Faye Hutchison of Grayridge; by three grandchildren, Jeramy Roberts of Sikeston, Erica Emison and husband Brian of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Taylor Balsman and husband Alex of Sikeston; by two great-grandchildren, Ridge Emison and Hayes Emison of Jonesboro; and by three foster great-grandchildren.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Vernon Mitchell; and by her daughter-in-law, Laurie DeWitt.

Earl Junior Schatte, son of the late Earl Wilson Schatte and Mildred Randles Schatte was born in Advance, Missouri on December 22, 1939 and departed this life at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on August 28, 2020 at the age of 80.
Mr. Schatte had worked at Dudley Grain for over 27 years before his retirement.
Survivors include one sister, Aretta Gillespie of Dexter, Missouri.
No services are being planned at this time.

Treasa Jean Malloy, daughter of Dimple McWaters Malloy and the late Harold Quinton Malloy Sr., was born on July 25, 1956 in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life on August 31, 2020 at her residence in Essex, Missouri, at the age of 64 years.
Ms. Malloy taught at Richland Schools for a few years before beginning her career in the retail and wholesale floral industry; working in the office and as a floral designer. She had worked for Helen’s Florist and Midway Floral in Sikeston, and Bill Doran Company in Illinois.
She is survived by her mother, Dimple Malloy of Morehouse; and by her two brothers, Harold Malloy Jr. of Essex and Carles Malloy and wife Lori of Essex.
