Betty June Bippus Hester, daughter of the late Cecil Bippus and Lottie Graves Bippus, was born on February 9, 1935 in Cotton Hill, Missouri, and departed this life on August 25, 2020 in Reeds Spring, Missouri, at the age of 85 years.
Mrs. Hester was a former cook for Southwest Elementary in Dexter, Missouri and she was a member of Advance First Church in Advance, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Donald C. Hester on January 29, 1954, in Bloomfield, Missouri. Mr. Hester preceded her in death on November 5, 1985.
She is survived by two sons, Carl F. Hester and wife Glenda of Bloomfield and Paul A. Hester and wife Kimberly of Reeds Spring; by three sisters, Virginia Bowers of Advance, Sue Clubb of Puxico, and Debbie Fisher and husband John of Dexter; by ten grandchildren, Joshua Hester and wife Rebecca of Dudley, Angela Hester of Bourbon, Laura Hester Davis and husband Ryan of Smithville, Ashley Hester and fiancé Mark McClintock of Dexter, Whitney Andrews and husband Bill of Forsyth, Justin Hester, Jeffery Davis, Jeremy Davis, Raychel Dooley, and Jimmy Kertz and wife Cassandra, all of Reeds Spring; by twenty-two great-grandchildren, Olivianna, Luke, Avalyn, Kailey, Jayden, Xander, Rebekah, Kendall, Amelia, Caroline, Emily Eyan, Emery, Ely, Lindsey, Carson, Lexi, Rheanna, Cameron, James, Noah, and Lindsay; by two great-great grandchildren, Kendall and Callie; and by may nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Josh Hester officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
