In Memory of Anna Belle Hawk

Anna Belle Hawk, daughter of the late Konley Hawk and Oma Owens Hawk, was born on December 16, 1935 in Greenbriar, Missouri and departed this life on June 4, 2020 at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri, after a short battle with COVID-19, at the age of 84 years.

Ms. Hawk was a former beautician, she worked in a large-scale bakery that made cookies, she was a certified nursing assistant in Elgin, Illinois, and she was a checker at Kroger.

She is survived by her son, Michael Otten and wife Sandra of Streamwood, Illinois; by her brother Jim Hawk of Wauconda, Illinois; by five sisters, Mary Jackman and husband Joe of Dexter, Missouri, Betty Peterson of Dexter, Missouri, Janis Robins and husband David of Perry Grove, Arkansas, Shirley Tillmon and husband Larry of Hartselle, Alabama, and Deana Whittley and husband Gerry of Dexter, Missouri; by her grandson, Ernie and by two great-grandchildren, Bradley and Azril.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by two brothers, Thelbert Hawk and Delbert “Dub” Hawk.

Funeral Services will be conducted at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. James Malloy officiating.  Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Memorials may be made to the Bloomfield Public Library, 200 W Seneca Street, Bloomfield MO  63825.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.
