Karen Ann Kruse, daughter of the late Ralph Burnett and Louise Snider Burnett, was born on July 18, 1949 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on May 17, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 70 years.
Mrs. Kruse was the former pastor of Faith Fellowship Church in Dexter. She was also a beautician and a resident of Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Jim Kruse on November 21, 2016 in Dexter, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Kruse of Dexter, Missouri; by her son Edmond Wade Oldham of Springfield, Missouri; by two daughters, Jammie Sue Jenkins of Lubbock, Texas and Amanda Marie Oldham of Puxico, Missouri; by two brothers, Tim Burnett and wife Lisa of West Plains, Missouri and Adrian Burnett and wife Wanda of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two sisters, Sue Davidson and husband Davey of Dexter, Missouri and Kandie Funkhouser and husband Ronnie of Nashville, Tennessee; by her sister-in-law, Sherry Burnett of Dexter; by five grandchildren, Jacob Wilson, Randy Fincher, Nicholas Zerr, J. W. Simpkins, and Katlyn Hemerley; and by two great-grandchildren, Faith Hemerley and Colton Simpkins.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dave Burnett, by her grandson, Jeffrey Swallows; and by her great-grandchild, Dacota Simpkins.

Wanda Sue Vallejo, daughter of the late Dan Boone and Gracie Turner Bradley, was born on August 7, 1960, in Zion, Illinois and departed this life on May 16, 2020 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 59 years.
Mrs. Vallejo was a former certified nursing assistant for Gideon Care Center and a homemaker. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Parish Catholic Church in Kennett and a resident of Holcomb, Missouri. She loved raising her children and grandchildren.
She was united in marriage to Javier Vallejo on March 10, 2007, in Holcomb, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband, Javier Vallejo of Holcomb; by her son, Ronnie Johnson of Dexter; by two daughters, Alondra Gonzalez of Holcomb and Kari Martinez of Kennett; by her sister, Cheryl Vaughn of Dexter; by seven grandchildren, Jose Martinez, Corey Martinez, Troy Martinez, Gracie Gonzalez, Emma Johnson, Jayden Johnson, and J. C. Johnson; by four great-grandchildren, Elijah Martinez, Daniel Diaz Jr., David Diaz, and Daniella Diaz.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Turner and by two sisters, Judy Read and Tammy Saffell.

Vicki Lynn Peters, daughter of Donald Jackson and the late Janice Warren Jackson, was born on July 10, 1967 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on May 16, 2020 at Southeast Health of Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 52 years.
Mrs. Peters was a former hearing instrument specialist for Miracle Ear in Sikeston. She was currently a computer tech for Comcast and a resident of Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Robert Peters on March 20, 1988, in Dexter, Missouri. Mr. Peters preceded her in death on June 28, 2009.
She is survived by her father, Donald Jackson of Pyletown; by her longtime companion, Dave Midgett; by two sons, Kale Midgett of Dexter and Shawn Midgett of Dexter; by five daughters, Lauren Peters of Kennett, Emily Peters of Dexter, Sara Midgett of Dexter, Samantha Chamberlain of Dexter, and Lacey Brown of Cape Girardeau; by her brother, Jerry Jackson of Dexter; by five grandchildren, Bryer Billingsley, Cole Midgett, Silas Kiger, Parker Chamberlain, and arriving soon, Chloe Billingsley; and by a large group of friends and family that she dearly loved.

Lois Louisene Clodfelter, daughter of the late Calvin Hayes Day and Nancy Ellen Eaker Day, was born on January 25, 1926, in Malden, Missouri, and departed this life on May 14, 2020, at Mulberry Manor in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 94 years.
Mrs. Clodfelter was a head teller at State Bank of Bernie, and First Community Bank of Bernie, for over 40 years. She will be fondly remembered for her loving heart, sense of style and class as well as how she took care of all her customers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all that knew her.
She was united in marriage to John L. Clodfelter on May 18, 1946, in Jacksonville, Alabama. Mr. Clodfelter preceded her in death on May 19, 2003.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Sue Clodfelter Hampton; and by her brother, Norman Day.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Nancy E. Hampton-Probst and husband Ross of St. Louis, and James A. Hampton and his partner Brian Crawford of Dexter; and by four great-grandchildren, John Probst, Alexandra Hampton Diebold (Levi), Conner “Tres” Hampton and Gracen Hampton.

Betty Lou Russell, daughter of Jean Bostic Wright and the late Harold Wright, was born on July 27, 1957 in Hayti, Missouri and departed this life on May 13, 2020 at her residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 62 years.
Mrs. Russell was a former maintenance administrator for Southwestern Bell and she was a member of the First Christian Church in Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Randy Russell on October 31, 1986 in Caruthersville, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband Randy Russell of Dexter; by her mom, Jean Wright of Caruthersville; by her son, David Russell of Dexter; by her daughter, Amanda Calhoun and husband Wes of Frohna; and by three grandchildren, Haylyn, Brenna, and Finley Calhoun.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Wright; and by two brothers, Michael Wright and Dennis Wright.
Visitation will be held at the First Christian Church in Dexter on Sunday, May 17, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A memorial service will then be conducted at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Williams officiating.
