
Vivian Wyvette Allen Hueckel, daughter of the late Herschel Allen and Kathleen Sitton Allen, was born on February 24, 1933 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on April 6, 2020 at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 87 years.
Mrs. Hueckel was a former employee of Hamra’s Department Store and Jay’s Music. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Dexter and a resident of Essex.
On August 3, 1951, in Dexter, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Billy Gene Hueckel. Mr. Hueckel preceded her in death on November 9, 2014.
She is survived by three sons, David Hueckel and wife Teresa of Essex, Stanley Hueckel and wife Brenda of Bloomfield, and Glenn Hueckel and wife Carrie of Essex; by her sister, Bonnie Umfleet of Advance, by six grandchildren, Angela Range of Wentzville, Amanda Brink of Cape Girardeau, Lisa Hadley of Imperial, Tara Wheetley of Puxico, Jared Hueckel of Puxico, and Jeffrey Hueckel of Dexter; by two step-grandsons, John Bolton of Honolulu, Hawaii and Ben Bolton of Joplin, Missouri; and by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Allen.
A private, family only, funeral service will be conducted at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Interment will follow in the New Essex Cemetery.
