Brenda J Held, age 70, of Chaffee, Mo passed away at her home on Saturday February 8, 2020.
Mrs. Held was born April 6, 1949 in Chaffee to the late Arthur and Velma (Green) Miller.
On November 30, 1968 she married Ronnie Held in Chaffee, he survives.
Also surviving are one son: Wayne Held and wife Mika of Chaffee, one daughter: Dana Urhan and Husband Keith of Chaffee, six grandchildren: Sierra (Dillon) Glastetter, Allie Miller, Rayney Held, Ayne’ Held, Hayden Held, and Corbyn Held; and one great granddaughter due in June.
She was preceded in death by one brother Bob Miller.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date.

Ronald Edwin Long, son of the late Cecil Long and Ellen Barham Long, was born on March 12, 1933 in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on February 10, 2020 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 86 years.
Mr. Long was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a former farm implement mechanic, specializing in Ford Tractors and he was a member of St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia, Missouri.
On December 23, 1956, in Bloomfield, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Rose Marie Fairless. Mrs. Long survives of their home in Dexter.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, James Long and wife Jean of Dexter, Missouri; by his daughter, Theresa White and husband Craig of Mena, Arkansas; by two sisters, Marilyn Wiggs of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Elizabeth Mueller of O’Fallon, Missouri; by three grandchildren, Nathan Long, Kelsey Long and Nicole McDaniel; and by five great-grandchildren.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandchild, Arvil Long.
Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jared Hancock officiating. Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Eddie Ann Padgett, daughter of the late Nelba Jean Rainey and Lee Rainey, was born on January 6, 1947 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on February 8, 2020 at the Jackson Manor in Jackson, Missouri at the age of 73.
Eddie Ann had worked as a beautician, and later worked as a secretary for NB Harty. She enjoyed researching her family genealogy and tracking her family roots. She was a member of the Stoddard County Genealogy Society. Eddie Ann was also a member of the Altrusa Club, where she served as several different officers, and on many committees. She was apart of the Dexter Community Betterment Committee, and played a role in getting the red caboose in its current location.
She is survived by two special family members, who were closer to her, then words can describe, Jamie Gilooly of Jackson, Missouri and Kristin Parker of Jackson, Missouri; by a neighbor, who turned into a great friend, Terry Holder of Dexter, Missouri; by Kristin’s children, who were the grandchildren she never had, Mara Golden, Nick Golden and Gage Parker, and by classmates and other friends and family.

Funeral services will then be conducted on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Jean Putnam, daughter of the late Mack Williams and Effie McCain Williams was born in Bernie, Missouri on August 17, 1938 and departed this life at Winchester Nursing Facility in Bernie, Missouri on February 7, 2020 at the age of 81.
Mrs. Putnam was Supervisor at Brown Shoe Company of Bernie, Missouri for over 35 years. She later worked at ARC of Dexter. She was baptized as a young girl and was of Baptist Faith.
She was united in marriage to Max Lynn Putnam in Bernie, Missouri on June 9, 1956. Mr. Putnam preceded his wife in death on September 15, 2002.
Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Hutchcraft, Tammy Brown & husband Michael, Kelly Urhahn & husband Derek all of Dexter, Missouri; by her twin brother, Rev. Dean Williams & wife Pearl of Dexter, Missouri; by one sister, Lodena Heigle & husband Ferrel of Fouke, Arkansas; by five grandchildren, Garett Hutchcraft & wife Taylor, Justin Hutchcraft, Bradley Brown & wife Amanda, Myles Urhahn and Macy Urhahn; by one great-grandchild, Penelope Hutchcraft and by another baby that should make their appearance in May; by her mother-in-law, Vivian Putnam Johnson of Bernie, Missouri; by her two brother-in-laws Gary Putnam and Larry Putnam; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by five brothers, Howard Williams, M.C. (Mack) Williams, His twin brother in infancy, Jack Williams; L.B. Williams and Everett Williams; by three sisters, Nelta Pippins, Donis Martin and Doris DeGroot.
Friends may call at Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Monday, February 10, 2020 starting at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dean Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery. Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie in charge of all arrangements.

Wanda Mae Myers, daughter of the late Chester St. Clair and Marie Barnfield St. Clair, was born on November 10, 1941 in Piedmont, Missouri and departed this life on February 7, 2020 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 78 years.
Mrs. Myers was a former employee of the International Hat Factory in Dexter. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a resident of Dexter.
On December 24, 1959, she was united in marriage to Irving James Myers. Mr. Myers survives of their home in Dexter.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jeff Myers and wife Deanna, and Mark Myers, all of Dexter, Missouri; by two sisters, Phyllis Ford of Aurora, Missouri and Vesta Bockenkamp of St. Louis, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Matt Myers and wife Alisha, and Jordan Myers; and by two great-grandchildren, Nathan Myers and Kathryn Myers.
