
Route 153 in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform edge rut repairs.
This section of roadway is located from Route 114 to Route D.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Jan. 28 through Friday, Jan. 31 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

Update on Missing Persons
As of December 24, 2019, The Stoddard County Major Case Squad has been de-activated. Dexter Police Department is still investigating the missing individuals:
A) Maria Danella Reyes – 48 Y/O female
B) Arynay Reyes-Juarez – 7Y/O female
C) Esbin Matillas-Martinez – 45 Y/O male
During the investigation we collected videos near the residence and in Advance Mo. The three subjects were seen leaving the residence at approximately 0430 hrs in the 2005 Silver Pontiac Grand Am with tinted windows. They were carrying bags and appeared in no distress.
Videos of the three were located in Advance Mo. They were seen inside the business at 0530 hrs and appeared in no distress. They purchased items to drink and appeared and left on their own accord.
The blood inside the residence has been account for and is not related to the three subjects missing.

Dexter, Missouri - On Sunday, December 22, 2019 at approximately 1436 hrs. Dexter Police Department received a report for check the well being at 307 S Elm Dexter MO. The reporting party was checking on his mother and her daughter, the door to the residence was standing open. He checked the house and after not finding his mother or sister, he exited the residence and contacted the Dexter Police Department.
Dexter Officers responded to the scene and no one was located. During the initial search, officers discovered blood inside the residence.
Stoddard County Major Case Squad was activated. We are currently investigating two endangered persons:
A) Maria Danella Reyes – 48 Y/O female –
• 4’11” 120 lbs
• Brown eyes and brown hair
• Hispanic female
B) Anyany Reyes – 7Y/O female
• 50 lbs
• Brown hair and brown eyes
• Hispanic female Juvenile
They may be in a 2005 Silver Pontiac Grand Am with tinted windows.

Esbin Martinez Matilas – 45 Y/O
Hispanic male
