Central Elementary 5th Grade 2nd Quarter Honor Roll 2019

Dexter, Missouri - Central Elementary School announced their 2019 2nd Quarter Honor Roll students for 5th grade.  Students must maintain a B average to be on the Honor Roll each quarter.

Making the honor roll is not as easy as one might think.  Central Elementary students who are high achievers acquire and develop excellent study habits and skills, especially in time management.  

Successful, lifelong learners set aside a time and a space every day to do their homework. Student who can manage their daily workload have a better chance of attaining academic success.

Bloomfield Board of Education January 2020 Meeting Minutes

Bloomfield Board of Education met for their regular meeting in January 13, 2020.  Below are the minutes to that meeting.

The board approved:

1.  Eva Hester as the District's MSBA Belcher Scholarship applicant;

2. Mentoring Program - S.W.A.G. - Students with Ambitions and Goals;

3. Reviewed the list of board candidates signed up to date:  Ryan Mayo, Bill Robison, Cecil Haley, and Jeff Jarrell

In executive session, the board approved:

1.  Adding Micaela Griffin and Jennifer Wilcox to the substitute list pending all paperwork;

2.  Resignation of Kathy Faires at the end of the 2019-2020 school year;

3.  Extra duties positions:  Stephanie Young - MS Math Scholastic; Kaylin Goins - HS Softball Assistant; Sarah Upchurch - MS Baseball Assistant

4..  Evaluation and extension of my contract through the 2021-22 school year.
