Bloomfield, Missouri - The Van Buren Bulldogs and the Gideon Bulldogs faced each other in game #7 of the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament on Thursday, December 26, 2019.  Van Buren defeated Gideon 63-61 and advance to the quarterfinals against Bernie on Friday evening.

Van Buren's 6'0" senior guard Connor Jackson tallied a game-high 19 points utilizing his ability to score from the outside on 3-pointers.  He recorded 5 against Gideon.  Seniors Trey Nicholson  and Jacob Brown each finished with 15 points and 6'3" junior Haden Barnes added 11 points.

Senior guard Sam Williams recorded a team-high 15 points.  Gage Stover, a senior guard, finished with 14 points for Gideon.
