Penny L. Johnson of Bloomfield, daughter of the late Billy Gene and JoAnn Olive Flecther Jarrell, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on November 11, 1966, passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on November 29, 2019, at the age of 53 years, 0 months and 18 days.
Penny had lived in Bloomfield all of her life. She was Southern Baptist Faith and worked as a Truck Driver for BT Express in Sikeston.
On February 18, 2005, she married Donald Johnson in Kingston Tennessee.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Johnson of Bloomfield; one son Shaun Smith of Dexter, two brothers, Tony Jarrell, of Dexter, and Billy Jarrell of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter.

Mark “Moose” Harold Glenn, son of the late Harold Moose Glenn and Mary Sue Glenn was born on April 8, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on November 29, 2019 at the SoutheastHealth of Cape Girardeau at the age of 54.
Mr. Glenn was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He had worked as a hazmat rated CDL truck driver, and was a resident of Dexter.
On October 10, 2006 he was united in marriage to Dea Reed in Bloomfield, Missouri. Mrs. Glenn survives of their residence in Dexter.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mycah and husband Derrick Wilburn of Gideon, Missouri and by one granddaughter, Kaitlynn Grace Wilburn.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Elmer Glenn.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Larry Lawman officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Wanda May Nolan, daughter of the late Ivan Johnson and Fay Martin Johnson was born on April 24, 1950 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on November 30, 2019 at the Advance Care Center in Advance, Missouri at the age of 69.
Mrs. Nolan was a resident of Bloomfield and of the Pentecostal faith. She had attended the Assembly of God Church in Bloomfield for many years. She had worked as an in-home health care provider, where she took care of the elderly.
On September 5, 1969 she was united in marriage to Mix Nolan in Bloomfield, Missouri. Mr. Nolan preceded her in death on July 1, 2010.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Seyer and her husband Ryan of Chaffee, Missouri and Sandy Nolan and her fiancé Evan Hicks of Bloomfield, Missouri; by one brother, Arlin and his wife Jeanette Johnson of Bloomfield; by seven grandchildren, Megan Bruce and her fiancé Brandon Friese, Nathan Bruce, Matthew Cazee, Emma Cazee, Shayna Seyer, Krista Hicks and Titus Hicks, and by one great-granddaughter, Gracelyn Friese.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister in infancy, Geraldine Johnson.

Shirley Ann Becking, was born on July 24, 1936, along the rural Northwest Dunklin-Stoddard County line road. She was the second child of Everett Ira Schrader and Thelma Louise Chatman. Shirley worked on her father’s farm and went to school during her early years. She attended Bernie High School. During the Second World War and while the Malden Air Base was operational, Shirley worked at the Base Canteen with her mother and sister.
On January 28, 1959, Shirley was joined in matrimony with George Harvey Becking at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter, Missouri. She worked as a waitress in support of her husband’s schooling as he attended engineering school in Rolla, Missouri. On July 25, 1961, their first child, Cassandra Kay was born in Rolla. After completing school, the family moved to Kokomo, Indiana where their only son Bruce Edward was born on October 12, 1964.
In September of 1965, her family moved to East Detroit, Michigan where the family purchased her uncle’s home. In January 1971, the family moved to Clinton Township, Michigan because Shirley wanted more space for her children; this was to become the Becking family home for the next 50 years. Shirley was a homemaker and much, much more as she excelled at this calling. Her only outside work during these years was keeping school teachers, preschool children so that she would be at home when her children were there and during their summer vacations. Shirley loved children and little animals and she was always in big demand for her children and their friends. Due to parental problems, she was also involved with the early years of her grandchildren. Occasionally, she would be called upon to help out with a crisis situation on the West coast and thus became known as “911 Grandma”.
In September of 1998, Shirley’s husband retired from his professional career. This afforded both her and her husband the opportunity to develop their family genealogy, which had been unknown beyond the grandparents until then, and provided the opportunity for much travel. They spent the next 10 plus years learning much about their heritage.
During Shirley’s mid-fifties she was diagnosed with very early dementia. As the disease progressed, it developed into Alzheimer’s during her late sixties and early seventies. In February of 2019, it became necessary to enter Shirley into a memory care unit where she remained until a bedsore, that caused a terminal infection, moved her to a specialized nursing facility in Tigard, Oregon.
Shirley passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the age of 83 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cassandra, her sister and her brother. She is survived by her husband, George, her son, Bruce, her brother, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter, Missouri on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Funeral Mass will then be conducted at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Father William Hennecke officiating. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.

Dennis Eugene Wagoner, son of the late Ed Wagoner and Pearlene Rosemary Spane was born on September 29, 1943 in Perkins, Missouri and departed this life on November 26, 2019 at his residence in Chaffee at the age of 76 years.
Mr. Wagoner retired as a supervisor of 30 years with Leggett-Platt Inc. in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and was a former employee of 9 years with Florsheim Shoe in Cape Girardeau. He served in the National Guard specialist fire department infantry #1140 as a medic, was a member of the Chaffee Elks Lodge #1810, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan and fisher man, but most of all loved watching his grandchildren play ball.
On May 15, 1965 he was united in marriage to Frances M. Halter at Chaffee. Mrs. Wagoner survivors of the home.
Besides Frances his wife of 54 years , other survivors include two sons, Danny Wagoner (Ann) of Chaffee and Eddie Wagoner of Kelso, Missouri; by one daughter, Kimberly Denise Wilson (Jim) of Houston, Texas; also, by four grandchildren, William Wilson, Lauren Wagoner, Avery Wagoner, Alex Wagoner and one brother Gary Wagoner of Perkins..
Besides his parents Dennis was preceded in death by one brother Jerry Wagoner.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee.
Elk Service will be at 6:00 pm on Sunday at the Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Chapel with Rev. Phil Thompson and Rev. Kenny Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow at the Williams Cemetery in Perkins.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation JDFR to help improve the lives of people burdened by type one diabetes and continue searching for a cure.
