Dexter, Missouri - School is back in session and DHS Choir students are already preparing for their upcoming musical "Grease". Jamie Sepulvado and her crew are featuring a "Greaser of the Week!" so you can get to know DHS performers!!
Performances will be Wednesday, November 20th through Saturday, November 23rd! We'll let you know when tickets go on sale etc, but until then get to know your castmates and prepare for a spectacular show!!
Greaser of the Week: Berkley Moreland
Berkley is a sophomore at DHS, and she will be performing on Thursday and Saturday nights with the Black Cast in the role of Cha Cha.
She enjoys choir.

Greaser of the Week: Noah Riddle
Noah is a sophomore, and he will be performing as Eugene with both the Red and Black Casts in the DHS production of Grease.
This is Noah’s first musical, and he is eager to try something new this year.

Greaser of the Week: Gerica Harris
Gerica is a sophomore, and she will be performing with the Red Cast on Wednesday and Friday as the character Sandy.
Gerica performed in Oklahoma last year as well.
She said that her Meemaw loved the theater, and she always wanted to perform for her.

Dexter, Missouri - The second grade classroom of Mrs. Massey earned the Southwest Elementary Positive Behavior Support Reward Flag for September 2019.
School Wide Positive Behavior Support (SWPBS) award is presented at the start of each month at Southwest Elementary. One classroom in each grade is recognized for exhibiting the high character with regard to observing the school's 3R's.
The 3R's stand for being Respectful, Ready to Learn and Responsible. The class with the highest attendance average, combined with the fewest disciplinary measures and general good character are awarded a 3R red flag to be posted in their classroom for the next month. The students are also awarded "Cat in the Hat" capes to wear and parade around the gym before returning to class. This year's theme is Dr. Seuss!
