Nellie Deborah Brown, daughter of the late Scott Craft and Carrie Elizabeth Trammel Craft, was born in Mounds City, Illinois on December 2, 1928 and departed this life at her daughters residence in Troy, Missouri on October 18, 2019 at the age of 90.
Mrs. Brown was a Farmer's wife, a Beautician, and then was a Van driver for Union Pacific Railroad until her retirement. She was of Baptist Faith.
She was united in marriage to Edgar Leon Brown in Bloomfield, Missouri on February 26, 1947. Mr. Brown preceded his wife in death on September 20, 2017.
Other survivors include three daughters, Sandra M Luber of Troy, Missouri, Diana L. Slivon of Dexter, Missouri and Debra C. Rose of Malden, Missouri; by one brother, Dennis Craft of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by one Sister-in-law, Norma Holloway of Indianapolis, Indiana; by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by four sisters, Imogene Rodgers, Lula Middleton, Juanita Gibson and Novella Cornelison; by one granddaughter, Jennifer Judd Schatte.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted In the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel starting at 1:00 P.M. With Rev Jared Hancock officiating. Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
