6th Annual DHS Book Fair Begins Monday, October 21st

The 6th Annual DHS Book Fair will begin on Monday, October 21st, at 7:30 AM, and will run until 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 24th. 

The book fair is open to the public during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday. 

All students and faculty who purchase items from the fair will be entered into awesome prize drawings, and the first 24 shoppers who purchase $5 or more in merchandise will receive a special bookish sweet treat. 

Students and faculty who order online will have an additional entry into the prize drawings. 

Their goal is 250 books!  Come out and help them reach their goal!

Online ordering begins today and items will ship directly to the shopper's home.  Shop HERE and support the DHS library!

Greaser of the Week Featuring Andie Kruse

Dexter, Missouri - School is back in session and DHS Choir students are already preparing for their upcoming musical "Grease".   Jamie Sepulvado and her crew are featuring a "Greaser of the Week!" so you can get to know DHS performers!!

Performances will be Wednesday, November 20th through Saturday, November 23rd!  We'll let you know when tickets go on sale etc, but until then get to know your castmates and prepare for a spectacular show!!

Greaser of the Week: Andie Kruse

Andie is a sophomore, and she will be performing with DHS’s Red Cast as Patty in the upcoming musical.

Andie has previously performed in DHS’s Wizard of Oz and Oklahoma.

She enjoys being on the stage and can’t wait to perform.

2019 Miss DHS Delaney Lemmon Fills in for 2018 Homecoming Queen

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School held their annual Homecoming coronation on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Charles Bland Stadium.

The DHS retiring queen is Miss Fuju Fujii.  She is currently back home in Japan.

The 2019 Football Homecoming Queen was crowned by Miss DHS, Delaney Lemmon.

Delaney was crowned in a ceremony earlier last month.

She is the 17-year old daughter of JJ and Shannon Lemmon and is a senior.

She is involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders of America, FCCLA, Student Council, Sr. Beta, Pep Club, Beta Show Choir, varsity football cheer, varsity Kickin' Cat Dance Team, Athletic Leadership Council, and was recently cast as the role of Sandy in the upcoming musical Grease.

She was escorted by Matthew Agey.  He is the 17-year old son of Debby and David Agey.  He is a senior.

Matthew says his three favorite things about Delaney are that she is very kind, always positive, and very outgoing.
