Ida Joan (Vandeven) Rowland, 78, Poplar Bluff, MO, died on October 8, 2019 at her home.
Visitation will be 10am to 12pm on Saturday, October 19, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 123 N. 8th St, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, 213 S. Broadway St., Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.
Ida was born December 3, 1940 to Edward and Dorothy (Elfrink) Vandeven and was raised in Bloomfield, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Kenny Vandeven, her sister Kathleen Barr and her grandson Robert Thomas Rowland.
Ida is survived by her 7 children and their families. They are; her son John (Theresa) Rowland and their children John Paul, David and Claudia; her daughter Susan (Jim) Moser and their children Trey and Sean; her daughter Beth Aguirre and her children Alex (his daughter Izzy) and Austin; her son David (Jerri Ann) and their children Ashley (Kyle) Aubuchon, Amber Maples, Annaleese Williams, and Chloe; her son Steve (Monica) Rowland and their children Wyatt, Gage, Kennedy and Blaise; her son Rob (Tara) Rowland and their children Stephen, Lauren and Nik; and her son Kenny (Amy) Rowland and their children Jeff, Sophia and River. Ida is also survived by her brothers Dale Vandeven and John (Trish) Vandeven and many nieces and nephews.
Ida raised her family in Poplar Bluff, MO and was an active volunteer in the community.
While raising her family Ida was a very active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church serving on many different boards and committees of the church. She was active in Birthright. She was the director of the Child Concern Center and sat on their board for many years. Ida also spent many years volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank. In 1986, after many years of baking in her home and with a desire to be a financial support to her children’s college educations she started her own bakery, The Rowland Stollen. Ida’s hard work made this business a great success and asset to the community. Mom’s greatest joy was our family. Our family would like to give special thanks to Diane Vert for the many years of love and care she gave to our mom.

Wilma Elizabeth Jarrell Quick, daughter of the late James Andrew Jackson Jarrell and Clara Frances Kleffer Jarrell, was born on November 3, 1923 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on October 13, 2019 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter at the age of 95 years.
Mrs. Quick was a former president and a member, for 62 years, of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #59 where she held every office. For many years, she was a member and former secretary of the Sadler Chapel United Methodist Church; and she taught Sunday school for the teenage and women classes. She loved making quilts, having a garden, and canning fruits and vegetables.
On February 10, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, she was united in marriage to Raymond Clyde Quick. Mr. Quick preceded her in death on February 6, 1953.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Quick of Arnold, Missouri; by two daughters, Deloris Wamble of Dexter, Missouri and Linda Green of Albuquerque, New Mexico, by three sisters, Vera Staggs and Melba Jones, both of Dexter, Missouri, and Mildred Renick of Ventura, California; by five grandchildren, Erin Burlew of Springfield, Missouri, Ryan Wamble of Holcomb, Missouri, Denise Knight of Arnold, Missouri, James Green of Toronto, Canada, and Sarah Kastendieck of Albuquerque, New Mexico; by seven great-grandchildren, Leah Robey, Hallie Burlew, Gavin Burlew, Myca Sutton, Christopher Knight, Tyler Knight, and Mayzi Alvarez; and by eight nieces and nephews, Wilma Jean Staggs, Virginia Young, Dianna Blevins, Clara Woll, Debra Renick, Joyce White, Larry Guiling and Doug Guiling.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Melvin Jarrell; by three sisters, Glinda Lane, Opal Jarrell and Vivian Jarrell; by her daughter-in-law, Sandra Quick; by her son-in-law, Clifford Wamble and by her nephew, Harold Staggs.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jayne Markin officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Pauline Ruth Bratcher, daughter of the late Paul Acord and Maudie Borders Cloninger Acord, was born in Charleston, Missouri on August 14, 1956 and departed from this life at Winchester Place in Bernie, Missouri on October 10, 2019 at the age of 63.
Mrs. Bratcher was a homemaker and a residence of Bernie.
She was united in marriage to David R. Bratcher in Bernie, Missouri on June 8, 2008. Mr. Bratcher preceded his wife in death on January 8, 2016.
Survivors include one son, Kevin Acord; by one daughter, Latisha Dettrie; by two half-brothers, Roy Cloninger and Raymond Cloninger; by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by one half-sister, Dorothy Clifton.

David Dale Waters, son of Joyce Waters of Dexter, Missouri and the late Columbus “Jack” Waters, was born on August 25, 1951 in Canalou, Missouri and departed this life on October 9, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 68 years.
Mr. Waters was a former fireman for Noranda in Marston, Missouri and a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri.
On May 19, 1972, in Canalou, Missouri he was united in marriage to Susie Hoskins. Mrs. Waters survives of their home in Bloomfield.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Shawn Waters and wife Keisha of Farmington, Missouri and Heath Waters and wife Katrina of Jackson, Missouri; by two brothers, Donald Waters and wife Carolyn of Vanduser, Missouri and Jackie Waters and wife Susan of Grayridge, Missouri; and by five grandchildren, Austin David Campbell of Arnold, Missouri, Gabe Waters of Bloomfield, Missouri, Seth Waters and Mya Lee Waters, both of Jackson, Missouri and Haley Hinkebein of Farmington, Missouri.

Valerie Michelle Ragsdel Keeton, daughter of Donald G. Ragsdel and Helen Casey Baker, was born on August 24, 1972 in Dearborn, Michigan and departed this life on October 4, 2019 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 47 years.
Ms. Keeton was a former cashier for Huck’s in Dexter and she was a resident of Sikeston.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Casey Baker of Bloomfield; by her father, Donald G. Ragsdel and wife Jamie of Dexter; by her long-time companion, Alan Christopher Mansker of Sikeston, by her sister, Monica Houchins of Sikeston; by her step-brother, Chris Fleming of Knoxville, Tennessee; by her niece Amber Chasteen and by three great-nephews.
Friends may call at Calvary Baptist Church in Dexter on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
A memorial service will then be conducted at Calvary Baptist Church on Saturday, October, 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Danny Collins officiating.
