Pauline Ruth Bratcher, daughter of the late Paul Acord and Maudie Borders Cloninger Acord, was born in Charleston, Missouri on August 14, 1956 and departed from this life at Winchester Place in Bernie, Missouri on October 10, 2019 at the age of 63.
Mrs. Bratcher was a homemaker and a residence of Bernie.
She was united in marriage to David R. Bratcher in Bernie, Missouri on June 8, 2008. Mr. Bratcher preceded his wife in death on January 8, 2016.
Survivors include one son, Kevin Acord; by one daughter, Latisha Dettrie; by two half-brothers, Roy Cloninger and Raymond Cloninger; by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by one half-sister, Dorothy Clifton.

David Dale Waters, son of Joyce Waters of Dexter, Missouri and the late Columbus “Jack” Waters, was born on August 25, 1951 in Canalou, Missouri and departed this life on October 9, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 68 years.
Mr. Waters was a former fireman for Noranda in Marston, Missouri and a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri.
On May 19, 1972, in Canalou, Missouri he was united in marriage to Susie Hoskins. Mrs. Waters survives of their home in Bloomfield.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Shawn Waters and wife Keisha of Farmington, Missouri and Heath Waters and wife Katrina of Jackson, Missouri; by two brothers, Donald Waters and wife Carolyn of Vanduser, Missouri and Jackie Waters and wife Susan of Grayridge, Missouri; and by five grandchildren, Austin David Campbell of Arnold, Missouri, Gabe Waters of Bloomfield, Missouri, Seth Waters and Mya Lee Waters, both of Jackson, Missouri and Haley Hinkebein of Farmington, Missouri.

Valerie Michelle Ragsdel Keeton, daughter of Donald G. Ragsdel and Helen Casey Baker, was born on August 24, 1972 in Dearborn, Michigan and departed this life on October 4, 2019 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 47 years.
Ms. Keeton was a former cashier for Huck’s in Dexter and she was a resident of Sikeston.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Casey Baker of Bloomfield; by her father, Donald G. Ragsdel and wife Jamie of Dexter; by her long-time companion, Alan Christopher Mansker of Sikeston, by her sister, Monica Houchins of Sikeston; by her step-brother, Chris Fleming of Knoxville, Tennessee; by her niece Amber Chasteen and by three great-nephews.
Friends may call at Calvary Baptist Church in Dexter on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
A memorial service will then be conducted at Calvary Baptist Church on Saturday, October, 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Danny Collins officiating.

Gary Dale Phillips, son of Frances Sheehy Phillips and the late William A. (Bill) Phillips, was born on March 10, 1958 in Poplar Bluff, MO and passed away at his home in Sanford, NC on July 16, 2019 at the age of 61.
Gary spent his early life in Dexter, MO. He attended Dexter Public Schools and is a 1976 graduate of the Missouri Military Academy. He attended Morehead State University in Morehead, KY with an interest in communications.
After college, Gary became an announcer and News Director of KDEX Radio in Dexter, MO. He later worked at 2 radio stations in SC. As radio became more automated, Gary turned to print publishing to further his communications career. He became editor of several newspapers in FL and SC.
Gary’s lifelong hobby was to play the bass guitar. He played in several local ensembles in the various places he lived.
Gary was a member of the First Baptist Church, Dexter, MO. Later, he joined the First Baptist Church in Pageland, SC, where he sang in the choir and played bass guitar in the praise band. Utilizing his experience in radio, Gary was the narrator of the Christmas Pageant.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, William A. (Bill) Phillips and his twin brother, Terry Gale Phillips.
Gary is survived by his son, Amos W. (Bill) Phillips and grandson, William A. (Liam) Phillips of Sanford, NC.; by his mother Frances Sheehy Phillips of Bradenton, FL; by his sister, Connie Engelbrecht and husband Nelson of Charlotte, NC; by his brother, James A. (Jim) Phillips of Orlando, FL; by two nephews, Michael Engelbrecht and Mark Engelbrecht, both of Charlotte, NC; and by numerous family members and friends.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at the Dexter City Cemetery on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., burial will follow.

Cathy Lynn Prunty, daughter of the late Sylvanus Prunty and Wanda Terrill Prunty, was born on January 11, 1958 in Ozark, Arkansas and departed this life on October 2, 2019 at her residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 61 years.
Ms. Prunty was a homemaker.
She is survived by her long-time companion, Robert Pratt of Dexter, Missouri; by two sons, Justin Pratt of Tennessee and Michael Pratt of Potts Camp, Mississippi; by two daughters, Robin Pratt and Sarah Pratt, both of Dexter, Missouri; by her brother, Don Prunty of Dexter, Missouri; by two sisters, Karen Pratt and Patricia Jo Fitzgerald both of Dexter, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Spencer Pratt, Michalie Currie, Michael Currie and Miracle Campbell; by her niece, Sharon Barker; by her nephew, Gary Prunty; by many other nieces and nephews; and by several aunts and uncles.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Prunty and by her sister, Deloris Breedlove.
