2019 DHS Homecoming Candidate Madilyn Hampton

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School held their annual Homecoming coronation on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Charles Bland Stadium.

Madilyn Hampton is the 17-year old daughter of Tom and Jennifer Hampton.  She is a senior at Dexter High School.

She was nominated by the varsity football cheer.

Madilyn is a member of the varsity football cheer squad, varsity basketball cheer, Student Council, Future Farmers of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and National Honor Society.

Her future plans are to attend the University of Missouri - Columbia and major in biology.  She plans to go into medicine.

Escorting her was Ryder Foster.  He is the 18-year old son of Todd and Angie Foster.  He is a senior.

His three favorite things about her are:  she is smart, caring and honest.

Maci Rauls is the 17-year old daughter of Rick and Stacy Rauls.  She is a senior.

She is involved in cheer, National Honor Society, Sr. Beta Club, FCCLA, Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Pep Club.

Her future plans are to obtain a degree in Business Administration.

Maci's escort tonight was Haden Hillis.  He is the 18-year old son of Tory and Darren Hillis.

His favorite things about Maci are: she is a true friend, she is genuine, and she is NOT dramatic.

The second candidate was Blair Rogers.

She is the 17-year old senior and daughter of Robin Northern and the late Aaron Rogers.

Blair was nominated by the varsity volleyball team.

She is a member of National Honor Society, National Beta Club, Student Council, Varsity Volleyball, and Varsity Basketball Cheer.

Her future plans are to attend the University of Missouri - Columbia and major in Political Science.  Later becoming a criminal defense attorney is her goal.

Her escort was Mason Keena.

He is the 18-year old senior and son of Paul and Melanie Keena.

His favorite things about Blair are her strong political opinions, unconditional love for ketchup and her pleasant facial expressions.

She is the 17-year old senior and daughter of Emily and Brad Milam.

Grace was nominated by the cross Country Team.

She is a member of cross county, track & field, Sr. Beta, National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her future plans are to attend a 4-year university and become an Occupational Therapist.

Her escort was Gavin Cartwright.

Gavin is the 17-year old junior son of Damon Cartwright and Denice Johnson.

His three favorite things about Grade are: she is intelligent, she is beautiful, and her laugh!

Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary honored 2nd Grade students with Positive Office Referral certificates.

This award was presented to students who consistently showed the 3R's RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN.

Each student received a certificate and a FREE Taco from Taco Bell.
