In Memory of Sandra Dee Richmond
Sandra Dee Richmond, daughter of the late Freddie Wiseman, Sr. and Paula Suarez Bennett, was born on January 28, 1960 in Nassau, The Bahamas and departed this life on June 25, 2019 at Southeast Health of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 59 years.

Sandra was a devout Catholic and loved to pray.  She was a 1978 graduate of Bloomfield High School.  Her favorite job was being a waitress at Hidden Trails Country Club.  She enjoyed shopping, yard sales and flea markets.  She loved being a homemaker, going out to eat, traveling, listening to country music, and watching game shows and westerns on TV. 

She is survived by two sons, Ryan Jones of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Gary Corse, Jr. (Kirsten) of Dexter, Missouri; by her beloved companion, John “Jack” Wells of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, Freddie Wiseman, Jr. (Sally) of Fairfield, California and Wilburn “Webbie” Wiseman (Carla) of Pocahontas, Arkansas; by her sister, Andria Allen (Jerry) of Biggers, Arkansas; by her grandson, Hayden; by six nephews and nieces and by many close friends.

A celebration of life is being planned for family and friends for a later date.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Freddie Joe “Fred” Smith
Freddie Joe “Fred” Smith, son of the late Burl Smith and Celestia Osbon Smith, was born on November 13, 1934 in Barbwire, Tennessee and departed this life on June 28, 2019 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 84 years.

Mr. Smith was a former Heavy Equipment Operator for J. R. McClard Construction.  He was a member of the First Church of God in Dexter, Missouri and a resident of Dexter.

On April 16, 1952, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Mattie Jane Johnson.  Mrs. Smith preceded him in death on September 4, 2005.

He is survived by two sons, Ronnie Smith of Dexter and Larry Smith of Jackson; by two daughters, Sandra Jane Lindemann and Trudy Lynn Smith, both of Dexter; by six grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Other than by his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael E. J. Smith; by his brother, Burley EJ Smith; by his sister, Essie Carter, and by one grandchild.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will then be conducted on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Leonard Madigan officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Cecil Wiseman
Cecil Wiseman of Dexter, son of late Lewis J. and Alta E. Shell Wiseman, was born in Paragould, Arkansas on July 18, 1926, and passed away at the Dexter Living Center in Dexter on June 29, 2019, at the age of 92 years 11 months and 12 days.

Cecil was married to Judy Kiehne in Dexter, Missouri and she passed away on February 10, 2012.

Cecil lived in Dexter area all his life, and was a charter member of Dexter Elks Lodge, he served in the US Army and was of the Baptist Faith. Cecil loved to garden and fish.

Surviving are one daughter, Peggy Shaver of Dexter; one son, Kenneth Wiseman of Dexter; he also had seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by, one sister Lola Cook; one son Richard Gene Wiseman, and one grand daughter Jessica Wiseman.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2019, at 1:00 pm at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery with full Military Honors.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Donald Stewart
Donald Stewart of Sikeston, son of the late Andrew Jasper and Opal Lucille Fowler Stewart, was born in Puxico, Missouri on October 18, 1946, and passed away at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, on June 29, 2019, at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 11 days.

Donald had lived in the Sikeston area. He had worked as a dump truck driver for Gaines seed, and was Christian Faith.
On July 31, 1965, he was married to Katherine Wheelis in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Katherine Stewart of Sikeston; two daughters, Paula Underhile of Dexter, Lisa Kolwyck of Wappapello Missouri; four sisters, Margaret Barnes of Jefferson City, Missouri; Connie Grady of Benton Missouri; Effie Hughes of Morehouse; Carolyn Stewart of Dexter; five grandchildern and six great grandchildren. Others relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers, and four sisters.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Alan Basham of Sikeston, Missouri officiating.

Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Doris Esterline Hoggard
Doris Esterline Hoggard, daughter of the late Elmer Esterline and Nettie Cunningham Esterline, was born in Parma, Missouri on December 1, 1931 and departed this life at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on June 26, 2019 at the age of 87.

Mrs. Hoggard had worked at State Bank of Bernie for over 40 Years.  She was a member of the Corner Gospel Fellowship of Bernie, Missouri and a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Robert Quincy Hoggard in Piggott, Arkansas on May 13, 1949.  Mr. Hoggard preceded his wife in death on September 27, 2012.

Other survivors include two sons, Dennis R. Hoggard of Piedmont, Missouri and Kerry D. Hoggard of Fruitland, Missouri; by three daughters, Karla Gallamore of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Marilyn Tiefenbrun of St. Louis, Missouri and Leah Beth King of Dexter, Missouri; by ten Grandchildren and fourteen Great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents and by her husband, by four brothers, Ed, John, Howard and LeRoy; by six sisters, Dora, Angeline, Fae, Alene, Vivian and Laveda, also by four siblings in infancy.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.   Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, June 30, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie, with Rev. Dean Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie in charge of all arrangements.
