In Memory of Louise Gray
Louise  Gray, 89, of Poplar Bluff, MO went to her heavenly home on June 04, 2019 at her home in Poplar Bluff. 

Louise was born on August 28, 1929 to Jake and Florence Ferguson in Blodgett, Missouri.  She was united in marriage to the father of her 3 sons, Willard Boyer, on December 21, 1945.  He preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1996.  She was then later married to Ken Gray March 18, 1997.  He preceded her in death Aug. 22, 2012

Louise enjoyed babysitting, visiting with her friends and attending church.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.  

Louise is survived by sons, Dale and  Richard Boyer; sisters, Vera Foushee and Mary Belle Stone; grandsons, Shawn, Wade, Cody, Dylan and Zack Boyer; great-granddaughters, Justina, Kailey, Kristen, Lexi, Rylee, Baylee and Hadlee; great-grandson, Lariat; step daughter, Vicki Henderson-Kelley, step-daughter; Jill Allison, step-son Johnny Gray; step-grandson, Kurt Henderson; step- granddaughter, Hannah Allison step- grandson, Brandon Allison, step- granddaughter, Sydney Allison step-granddaughter, Lauren Emerson.

Louise was preceded by her parents, husband Willard Boyer, son, Randy Boyer, husband  Ken Gray and 10 siblings.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019  from 12 pm to 1 pm  at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO.

The funeral service will follow at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Gene Lancaster officiating. 

Burial will be at Brown Chapel in Broseley, Mo

In Memory of Bill McCullar
Bill McCullar of Puxico, son of the late Calvin Elbert and Flora Ada Coleman McCullar, was born in Pontotoc, Mississippi on June 20,1947 and passed away at his home near Puxico, June 4, 2019, at the age of 71 years, 11 months and 14 days.

Mr. McCullar had lived in St. Louis most of his life, he also lived in Tennessee and moved to Puxico in 2013. He was a paint shop supervisor in a A/C Manufacturing, he attended Corinth Baptist Church. He was past member of Lions Club.

Surviving are his life partner of twenty six years, Helen Voss of Puxico; two daughters, Tammy Ludwig of Brentwood, Missouri, Tanya Caito of Eureka, Missouri; one son, WIlliam E. McCullar of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren; two great grand children, one sister, Elizabeth Porter of Winfield, Missouri; one brother, Billy McCullar St. Louis, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded by one grandson, William Edward McCullar, Jr, two brothers, Samuel E. and Calvin, Jr. McCullar, two sisters Sandra Jordan and Bobbi Gean Bechtel.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 after 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico with the Rev. Jim Clark of Puxico officiating.

Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Carolyn June Sneed
Carolyn June Sneed, 89, of Malden, passed away June 1, 2019 at her home.  She was born March 26, 1930 in Pleasantville, IL, the daughter of Fred and Effie Morgan Dozier.

Carolyn spent her life as a homemaker.  She had been a member of the Greenbrier Assembly of God Church.

Carolyn and Gene Ray Sneed were united in marriage on April 1, 1950 and he preceded her in death on January 14, 1984.

Survivors include: a son, Mark (Paula) Sneed of Advance; a daughter, Aubrey Hoggard of Malden; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Jerry Sneed; and a daughter Jennett Stephens.

Visitation will be held on Monday June 3, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.  A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at the chapel.  Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.

In Memory of Shirley Marian Edwards
Shirley Marian Edwards daughter of the late Marion “Tuck” McMullin and Edna Prater McMullin was born on May 24, 1932 in Gray Ridge, Missouri and departed this life on May 28, 2019 in Mexico, Missouri at the age of 87.

Mrs. Edwards was a life long member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Dexter, a member of PEO and Church Women United.  She enjoyed playing bridge and was in a bridge club.  She was a home-maker and a resident of Dexter.

On March 21, 1951 she was united in marriage to Eugene Edwards in Dexter.  Mr. Edwards preceded her in death on July 13, 2007.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Wright of Mexico, Missouri and Joy Ward and husband David of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Wayne Edwards; by two brothers, Edwin McMullin and Wayne McMullin and by one grandson Duane Eugene Edwards.

A private grave-side memorial service will be conducted at a later date.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.

The family requests memorials be made to the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 224 East Stoddard Street, Dexter, Missouri 63841.

Walter Nichols, son of the late Edward Carl and Ida Hazlip Nichols, was born in Dexter on April 2,1934, and passed away at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on May 25, 2019, at the age of 85 years.

He had lived most of his life in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a member of the Nazarene Church, was a Past Patron and 51 year member of Pomegranite Chaper #397 in Fenton, dual with Dexter Chapter #311, Order of the Eastern Star, and a Past Master and 51 year member of the Fenton Masonic Lodge #281. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army

On April 27,1951 he was married to Lula Barker in Dexter, Missouri.

Surviving are one daughter, Debra Eichorn of Godfrey, Illinois; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Revis of Maryland Heights, Missouri. Other family and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Nichols Sr., his son Timothy Nichols Jr. and one daughter, Donna Sellers.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel Dexter, Missouri, Masonic services will be held at 5:15 pm.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel Dexter, Missouri.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with full military honors, Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
