In Memory of Geneva Crank

Geneva Crank, daughter of the late Elva Fisher and Katie Jackson Fisher, was born on January 11, 1923 in Aid, Missouri and departed this life on May 29, 2019 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 96 years.
Mrs. Crank was a member of First Baptist Church in Dexter and she enjoyed reading her bible every day. Geneva was a homemaker and she loved to sew and decorate eggs. She made jewelry from beads and was known as the Bead Lady at the nursing home.
On June 13, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was united in marriage to John Alvin Crank. Mr. Crank preceded her in death on October 4, 1996.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Wayne Crank of Laguna Beach, California; by her daughter, Linda L. Seier and her husband A. J. of Dexter, Missouri; by her brother, Jimmie Fisher of Michigan; by four grandchildren, Mark Edward Holifield, John Todd Holifield, Matthew D. Holifield and Amber Dawn Harris; and by six great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Dennis Crank.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory Michelle Williamson

Michelle Williamson, daughter of Max Morey and the late Doris Jones Elder, was born on December 22, 1963 in Lansing, Michigan and departed this life on May 23, 2019 at her residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 55 years.
Michelle is survived by her father and step-mother, Max and Glenda Morey of Chattanooga, Tennessee; by three sons, Dempsey Williamson, Hunter Williamson and Brandon Gross of Benton, Missouri; by her daughter, Benessa Gross of Dexter, Missouri; and by her sister, Debbie Fuqua of Dexter, Missouri.
A memorial service will be conducted at Faith Fellowship Bible Way Assembly Church on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Spratling officiating.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of June Norman

June Norman, daughter of the late Arthur Trigg and Mary Hathcoat Trigg, was born on May 11, 1919 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on May 30, 2019 at Southeast Health of Stoddard County at the age of 100 years.
Mrs. Norman was a member of the First Christian Church in Bernie, Missouri. From 1940 to 1980, she and her husband Leslie, owned and operated Ben Franklin in Bernie. June was also a volunteer for Stoddard County ARC.
On May 13, 1936, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Leslie Norman. Mr. Norman preceded her in death in May of 1980.
She is survived by her son, Jack Norman and wife Mary of Dexter, Missouri; by two grandsons, Brian Norman of Cibelo, Texas and Eric Norman of Dublin, Ohio; by five great-grandchildren, Matthew Norman, Scott Norman, Brooke Norman, Lauren Norman and Emily Norman; and by one great-great grandson, Elias Norman.
Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Thomas Trigg, Harry Trigg, Lawton Trigg, Homer Trigg and Joseph Trigg; and by two sisters, Havilla Trigg and Shan Trigg.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Pierce officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

In Memory of Mary Kathryn “Kathy” Remole

Mary Kathryn “Kathy” Remole, 76, of Huntsville, MO, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at Brook Cherith Assisted Living in Huntsville. She was born July 27, 1942 in Moberly, MO, the daughter of Roy Mitchell and Oleta Ann (Ray) Slaughter.
Kathy graduated from Westran High School in 1960, and played basketball where her team went 42-0. She was a lifelong resident of Randolph County. Kathy worked for 24 years in a management position for the Moberly Walmart. She retired from Walmart, but later came out of retirement and worked another 14 years for the city of Huntsville.
She was an avid fan of sports; especially the St. Louis Cardinals and the Missouri Tigers, but Kathy enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s games the most. She coached 5th and 6th grade basketball and softball for many local girls. Kathy was a member of the Sweet Springs Baptist Church in Huntsville.
Kathy was married to Bob Waters and of that union, had a son and daughter; Robert Martin Waters (Jill) of Hartland, MI and Wendy Susan Schemmer (Bill) of Huntsville. Kathy and Bob later divorced. She later married Bill Remole and of that union gained another daughter, Roxanne Jane McGhee (Greg) of Dexter, MO. Kathy and Bill later divorced.
In addition to her children, survivors include her sister, Royce Ann White of Benton, MO, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Margie Fay Howard and Patsy Carol Slaughter
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Million Taylor Funeral Homes with burial to follow in the Oakland Cemetery of Moberly. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019. Memorials may be given to Brook Cherith Assisted Living or the Westran High School Booster Club c/o Million Taylor Funeral Homes, 320 S. Williams St., Moberly, MO 65270.

In Memory of Bennetta Jo Clark

Bennetta Jo Clark, daughter of the late, Arthur Fyffe and Piety Fields Fyffe, was born in Bernie, Missouri on October 21, 1926 and departed this life at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on May 23, 2019 at the age of 92.
Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and was a member of Bernie Christian Church.
She was united in marriage to Melvin Howard Clark in 1945. Mr. Clark preceded his wife in death on November 4, 1977.
Other survivors include one daughter, Rhonda Lee Jones & husband Darrell of Bernie, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Melanie Kay Stone & husband Ryan and Brian Everett Jones & wife Jessica; by two great-grandchildren, Deken Kale Stone and Madilyn Grace Jones; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by one son in infancy; by one brother, Eugene Fyffe; by one sister Wilda Wright.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted at 12:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Rev. Randy Moore officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
