In Memory of Alma L. Lewis
Alma L. Lewis of Bloomfield, daughter of the late James and Beulah Fulkerson, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on May 27, 1923, and passed away at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Missouri on May 24, 2019, at the age of 95 years.

She had lived in Bloomfield most of her life. She had worked at Elder's Manufacturing, the Bloomfield Water Department and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.

On October 10, 1996, she married Wayne Lewis in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Surviving are one daughter, Peggy Hunt of Scottsville, Kentucky; two sons, Larie Burdine of Idalia, Tony Burdine of Bloomfield; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Beulah Eaton and Dorothy Gillespie both of Bloomfield. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Pearcy; three brothers, Glenn, James H. and James W. Fulkerson; two sisters, Opal Wilson and Pearl Stone.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri, services to follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ronnie Stevens of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.

Interment will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
