In Memory of Bobby Lee Earnest

Bobby Lee Earnest, son of the late John Earnest and Siller Stephens Earnest, was born on March 17, 1954 in Memphis, Tennessee and departed this life on April 3, 2019 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 65 years.
Mr. Earnest was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired route salesman for Frito Lay. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Dexter, Missouri. Nothing was more important to Bobby than his family and church family. He always took care of them and was the hardest working man they knew. He was respected by everyone he came in contact with, and loved by all.
On May 6, 1971 in Peach Orchard, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Linda Catt. Mrs. Earnest survives of their home in Dexter. Their marriage lasted forty-seven years, built on faith, family and love.
In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by two sons, Randy Earnest and his wife Ginger of Jackson, Missouri and Wade Earnest and his wife Brandy of Dexter, Missouri; by one daughter, Sheila O’Shea of Matthews, Missouri; by two sisters, Betty Caldwell of Corning Arkansas and Gladys Hoag and her husband Alan, of Corning, Arkansas; by nine grandchildren, Gatan Earnest, Kyler Earnest, Jonathan Earnest, Connor Earnest, Kenadi Earnest, Ethan Spraggs, Mary Spraggs, Micaela O’Shea and Miah O’Shea.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Earnest.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter at 2:00 p.m. with Jeremy Tucker and Clyde Jacques officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
