In Memory of Lois Teets

Lois Teets, daughter of the late Lawrence Ewing Brown and Pearl Lane Brown, was born on January 5, 1931 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on April 1, 2019 in Gideon, Missouri at the age of 88 years.
Mrs. Teets was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter. She was a home-maker and a resident of Dexter.
She is survived by her son, Bradley Teets and his wife Sue of Arizona; by her daughter, Kim Williams and husband Rick of Dexter; by her sister, Glenda Holder of Dexter; by four grandchildren, Jennifer Teets, Christy Harrison, Sarah Beard and Cale Williams; by five great-grandchildren, Carson Williams, Eli Hunt, Delaney Hunt, MaKenna Simmons and Kyren Simmons and by one great-grandchild, Aminah Teets.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Ann Teets; by four brothers, Marvin Brown, Loyd Junior Brown, Ray Dean Brown and James Elvis Brown and by four sisters, Melba Atherton, Helen Taylor, Thelma Stevens Grobe and Wilma Renfro.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from NOON until 2:00 P.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lonny Mittag and Rev. Mike Watkins officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Tyler Maddox

Tyler Maddox, son of Bethany Stanberry Maddox of Grayridge and the late Kevin Maddox, was born on May 28, 1995 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and departed this life on March 27, 2019 at his residence near Grayridge, Missouri at the age of 23 years.
Mr. Maddox was a former farm laborer with Conner Farms. He was a 2014 graduate of Richland High School.
He is survived by his mother, Bethany; by his brother, Austin Maddox of Grayridge; by his sister, Mackenzie Maddox of Grayridge; by his paternal grandfather, Robert “Bob” Maddox of Grayridge; by his paternal grandmother, Virginia Cobb Cruse of Poplar Bluff; by his maternal great-grandmother, Martha Louise Stanberry; by his nephew, Kevin Lee Maddox; by two uncles, Steven Michael Cruse and Chad Maddox; by his aunt, Michelle Stanberry, by his cousins, Paige Stroud, Trey Appleton and Kenneth Stanberry; by his best friend, Jeremey Davis and his beloved dog, Roscoe.
Besides his father, Kevin, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Houston Stanberry; by his maternal grandmother, Mary Beth Haley; by his paternal great-grandparents, C. L. “Wig” and Vivian Maddox and by his maternal great-grandfather Houston Stanberry.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 3:00 pm with Rev. James Malloy officiating.

In Memory of Larry Ray Pritchett Sr.

Larry Ray Pritchett Sr., age 79, of Broseley, MO, died Sunday, March 24, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Pritchett was born October 02, 1939 in Poplar Bluff, MO, son of the late Jude and Clorease Pritchett.
Larry loved talking with people and especially enjoyed his time with his family. He enjoyed being on the farm with his family. He also enjoyed pulling tractors. He spent time with his children and grandchildren camping and going to any activity his grandchildren were involved in.
On March 3, 1963 he married Barbara Conover, she survives. Also surviving are one son, Larry Ray Pritchett, Jr. (Cassie), Broseley, MO, one daughter Ann Marie Green (Wayne), Campbell, MO, one granddaughter Tayler Rae Fitts (Daniel), Bloomfield, MO, one grandson Garrett Lee McLane, Broseley, MO.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 28, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kevin Murray and Rev. Jim Sanders officiating.
Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley, Missouri

In Memory of Louis Dean Borders

Louis Dean Borders of Poplar Bluff, son of the late Troy E. Borders and Mary Myrtle Marlin, was born in New Madrid County, Missouri on May 2, 1935, passed away at The Manor in Poplar Bluff on March 24, 2019, at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 22 days.
Dean had lived in Fisk before moving to Poplar Bluff. He had worked as a hat dipper at the Paramount Hat Wear company and attended the Star Community Church near Fisk. He enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and fixing things. He served in the US Army.
On May 13,1962, he married Annabelle Aileen Hagy in Neelyville, Missouri. She preceded him in death on November 17, 2000.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Borders of Dexter, Malinda Willard of Bloomfield; two sons, Johnny Borders of Fisk, Troy Borders of Battle Creek, Michigan; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Borders of Poplar Bluff, Graydon Marlin of Worth, Illinios, Jesse Borders, of St. Charles, Missouri; two sisters, Juanita Almond of Flint Michigan, and Wanda Melton of Poplar Bluff. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ellis Sanford Marlin; one sister, Violet Whitworth; one infant brother.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019, after 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with Scott Wilkerson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Caroline Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Dorothy Jean Pulley

Dorothy Jean Pulley, daughter of the late Clarence Taylor and Irene Taylor, was born on June 17, 1942 in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on March 29, 2019 at her residence in Bloomfield at the age of 76 years.
Mrs. Pulley was a school teacher in Bloomfield, retiring after 31 years. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
She is survived by two sons, Trevor Pulley and Tim Pulley, both of Bloomfield; by seven grandchildren, Matthew Pulley, Megan Henson, Taylor Waddy, Caleb Pulley, Cameron Pulley, Michael Pulley and Mason Pulley; and by five great-grandchildren, Emmitt Pulley, Asher Pulley, Collin Henson, Arthur Waddy and Amelia Pulley.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 8:30am to 10:30am.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 10:30am, with Rev. Greg Stevens and Rev. Blake Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bloomfield, Cemetery.
