Stoddard County, Missouri - State Law requires Liberty Township to obtain voter approval every four years of its Special Road & Bridge Tax Levy.
This is NOT a new tax - it is a continuation of an existing assessment which has allowed the township to maintain our roads and bridges. Without this special levy, Liberty Township will not be able to maintain them at their current level. This is NOT a tax increase!
"Shall the Liberty Township General Road District levy a Special Road and Bridge Tax Levy of .35 cents on the one hundred dollar assessed valuation in said road district fo the next four years, with the first year being the present tax year?"
Vote YES!
The polls will open at 6 a.m. in the morning and will close at 7 p.m. in the evening of Tuesday, April 2nd.
