In Memory of James Keith Lambert
James Keith Lambert, son of the late William Franklin Lambert and Marjorie Jane Meritt McGuire was born on May 13, 1958 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on March 15, 2019 at SoutheastHealth of Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 60 years.

Mr. Lambert was a former mechanic for Webber Motors in Dexter.

On June 14, 1985 he was united in marriage to Patty Coffey in Dexter, Missouri. Mrs. Lambert survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three brothers, Steve (Jo) Lambert of Dexter, Charlie (Michelle) McGuire of Sedgewickville, Missouri, Eric Steinbeck of Dexter and one sister, Vicki Huffman of Grassy, Missouri.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery.

In Memory of Barbara J. Rice
Barbara J. Rice, daughter of the late Robert Fowler and Pearl Cecil Fowler was born on January 14, 1929 in Risco, Missouri and departed this life on March 15, 2019 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 90 years.

Ms. Rice was a beautician before she went to work at the International Hat Factory in Dexter where she had retired. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Dexter.

She was married to her first husband, Herschel Dix of which they had six children.  Herschel preceded her in death.  She then was united in marriage to Melvin Gainer and he preceded her in death and then married Carl Rice which he preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, Ron Dix of Essex, Missouri; two daughters, Diane Smith (Allen) of Dexter, Missouri and Lisa (Jeff) Scherer of Jonesboro, Illinois; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by three sons, Lanny Dix, Steven Dix and Kenneth Dix; seven brothers, Glenwood, James, Gene, Charles, Robert, Denzel and Jerry; three sisters, Madeline, Inez and Fostina.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. 

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 1:00pm with Rev. Shane Mallard officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Dale “Boo”  Pearson
Dale “Boo”  Pearson, son of Jean Rohde Pearson and the late Don Pearson was born on January 29, 1979 in Bay City, Michigan and departed this life on March 15, 2019 at his residence in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 40 years.

Mr. Pearson was a Licensed Practical Nurse for various nursing homes. 

Besides his mother, survivors include, two sons, Konner Pearson of Bloomfield and John Luke Davis of Bloomfield; two daughters, Paige Pearson of Puxico and Jadyn Davis of Bloomfield; one brother, David (Samantha) Pearson of Bloomfield; two sisters, Michelle Baxter and Melissa (Bill) Pullum both of Bloomfield; two nephews, Colt Pullum and Devin Kuntz, two nieces, Destiny Baxter, Katlyn (Timmy) Pearson; and one great-nephew, Carter Spence. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Donnie Watson, Travis Sanders, Logan Watson, Wyatt Watson, Devin Kuntz and Colt Pullum.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 PM.

A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Dwight Hensley officiating.

In Memory of Helen Marie Giffin
Helen Marie Giffin of Bloomfield, daughter of the late John Woodrow and Sylvia Eula Sailors French, was born in Avert, Missouri on February 10, 1936, and passed away at her home in Englewood, Florida, on March 11, 2019, at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 1 day.

Helen had lived in Bloomfield for many years of her life. She graduated from Bloomfield High School, had worked at Elder's Manufacturing, the Dept. of Social Services and worked for the National Park Service before she retired. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield.

She was first married to Wayne Gibbs. She later married James R. GiffIn on May 30, 1984 in Republic, Missouri.

Surviving are her husband, James R. Giffin of Bloomfield; one son & wife, Allen and Debbie Gibbs of Van Buren, Missouri; one daughter & husband, Cindy and Mark Blasa of Bethalto, Illinois; four grandchildren & spouses, Josh & Tracy Gibbs, Justin & Katishia Gibbs, Nate & Tiffany Blasa, Lauren & Joel Claytor; seven great grandchildren, Cayden, Cooper, Kaytie & Ella Gibbs, Clark & Grant Blasa, and Josalyn Claytor; three step-children, Barbara Giffin, Bobby Giffin & Donald Giffin; eight step-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren (and one on the way); one brother & wife, Charles and Charlene French of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; one sister & husband, Brenda and Larry Champ of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a step-son, Harry Giffin, and a step-grandchild.

Friends may visit on Saturday, March 16, 2019, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at 1:30 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Alice Fowler of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Donnie Ray Mace
Donnie Ray Mace of Advance, son of the late Raymond Ray and Stella Jane Stafford Mace, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on October 22, 1954, and passed away at his home near Advance on March 15, 2019, at the age of 64 years, 4 months and 21 days.

Donnie had lived Southeast Missouri and Advance all his life. He had worked at the Bell Mo Seed Company in Bell City and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Advance.
On July 29, 1991, he was married to Katherine Margaret Kidd.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Mace of Advance; two daughters & husbands, Lindsey & Eric Callahan of Cape Girardeau, Sara & Garrett Robison of Columbia; one sister and husband, Kathy & Henry Brinkman of High Ridge. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Mace and Bud Scheible and one sister, Betty Lou Dowd.

Friends may visit on Sunday, March 17, 2019, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019, at 1:00 pm at the United Methodist Church in Advance with the Rev. Jerry Willer of Advance, Missouri officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hitt Cemetery near Advance with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
