In Memory of Bobbie Jo Fleming
Bobbie Jo Fleming, daughter of Arlon E. Fleming, Jr. of Zalma, Missouri and the late Hazel Winsett was born on March 23, 1979 in Turlock, California and departed this life on March 9, 2019 at her residence in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 39 years.

Ms. Fleming was a waitress and a resident of Bloomfield.

Besides her dad, Arlon, she is survived by her step-mom, Debra Fleming; one son, Jonathon Goforth of the state of Washington; one daughter, Emily Holland of Bloomfield, Missouri; two brothers, Christopher Fleming of Advance, Missouri and Charles Aaron Nelson of Bloomfield, Missouri; four sisters, Lee Ann Mohr of Marble Hill, Missouri, Amanda Moore of Bloomfield, Missouri, Kristiaune Green of Birch Tree, Missouri and Tammie Knutson of Lemoore, California.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Richard May
Richard May of Bloomfield, son of the late Clacy and Nellie Irene Pry May, was born in Bloomfield on February 17, 1945, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center on March 10, 2019, at the age of 74 years and 21 days.

Richard had lived in Bloomfield all of his life. He was a retired manager with International Hat, a consultant with Cap America and was a member of the Hill's General Baptist Church in Bloomfield. He was an avid fisherman, a Cardinal Baseball fan and enjoyed spending time with his friends.

On October 19, 1963, he was married to Deloris Craig in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Deloris May of Bloomfield; a special nephew and wife, Greg & Mary Ramsey of Cape Girardeau; and life long friend, Sue Tippen of Bloomfield. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, David May, one brother, Robert May, and one sister, Juanita Reeves.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Hill's Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Interment will follow in the Hill's Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Jane Darlene Davis McCormick
Jane Darlene Davis McCormick, daughter of the late Samuel Felix Davis and Lera Webb Davis was born on December 19, 1948 in Bernie, Missouri and departed this life on March 8, 2019 at her residence in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 70 years.

Mrs. McCormick had retired from the Division of Family Services/Social Services.  She was of Lutheran Faith, a resident of San Antonio, Texas and a former resident of Dexter, Mo.

Survivors include: one son, Edward “Teddy” McCormick and wife Sekinat; one sister, Judy Davis of Dexter, Missouri; two grandchildren, Zachariah and Sarah and many other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel M. Davis.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. 

Funeral services will be conducted at the Faith Lutheran Church in Dexter on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10:00 am with Rev. Justin Sponaugle and Rev. Steve Tippen officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.

In Memory of Georgia Louise Scherer
Georgia Louise Scherer, daughter of the late Charlie Guinn and Erdie McCaslin Guinn, was born on June 2, 1935 in Leachville, Arkansas and departed this life on March 7, 2019 at the Advance Nursing Center in Advance, Missouri at the age of 83 years.

Mrs. Scherer was a housewife and a resident of Benton, Missouri.

On December 23, 1952, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Hanford Grady.  Mr. Grady preceded her in death in April 1995.  On April 25, 1998, in Dexter, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Gregory Scherer.  Mr. Scherer survives of their home in Benton, Missouri.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three step-sons, Joe Scherer of Pacific, Missouri, Glenn Scherer of St. Louis, Missouri and Timothy Scherer of Scott City, Missouri; by five step-daughters, Rosanne Elsey of Sikeston, Missouri, Karen Scherer of Nashville, Tennessee, Mary Beth Glasstetter of Oran, Missouri, Laura Scherer of Benton, Missouri and Kristy Allgeyer of Ballwin, Missouri; sixteen step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers; Starling Guinn, Verlis Guinn, Charles Guinn, and E. J. Guinn and two sisters, Cynthia Starnes and Sue Johnson.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. 

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Steven Moody officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

In Memory of Jerome D. Klutts
Jerome D. Klutts, son of the late Clifford Klutts and Jessie (Roberts) Klutts was born in Oran, Missouri on September 13, 1944 and departed this life at his home in the Aid Community on March 7, 2019 at the age of 74 years.

Mr. Klutts was a Veteran in the United States Army.  He served three years in the Army.  He then joined the Missouri National Guards and went to OCS.  He served for six years and resigned from the guard as a 1st Lieutenant. He was a cabinet and door maker for many years and a part-time and later full-time computer programmer for WW Wood Products.

He was united in marriage to Alice Marie Mathias on December 24, 1965 in Campbell, Missouri.  He is survived by his wife Alice of the home; one daughter, Pamela Garner and one granddaughter, Ashlan Garner of the Aid Community; two sisters, Dot Buckley and Ernestine Pattillo both of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.  

He was a big supporter and active in his daughter’s charity, “Crusin' for Kids (Helping Kids in Need)”.  He loved his family, God, country and helping others.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. 

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Rev. Ronnie Stevens officiating. 

The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:40am for the graveside service.
