Dexter High School Wrestling Bearcats Earn First Ever District Championship
Ste. Genevieve, Missouri - The Dexter Bearcats won the team District Championship on Saturday at the Class 2, District 1 Tournament in Ste. Genevieve.  Four athletes earned first place and 11 qualified for the state tournament.

The Bearcats finished with 187 points, beating second-place Ste. Genevieve by 3.5 points.

According to Dexter head coach James Sneed this District Championship is believed to be the first ever in school history.

Travis Waldner, Jett Featherston, Colten Gibson, and Bryston Pemberton won district championships.
