Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Kiwanis Club welcomed Senator Doug Libla at their weekly meeting. 

Pictured is Senator Libla addressing the full room of Kiwanis members and guests. 

Senator Libla gave a brief update and then fielded questions from those attending.

Old Methodist Church Demolition in Bloomfield

Bloomfield, Missouri - A pre-bid meeting for the demolition of the old Methodist Church located at 201 E. Court Street in Bloomfield will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24th.

Anyone interested in bidding the job should be in attendance at the commission chambers.

Proposals for the job will be due February 4, 2019.

Please Share!  Local Man Missing - Last Seen Tuesday in Sikeston

LUCAS CONYERS was last seen on Tuesday, January 15th in Sikeston Missouri.

He left that day to drive to Greenville, MS where he was to stay overnight in a hotel as he was scheduled the following morning at 8:30 a.m. for work on a River Boat.

Lucas never checked into the hotel, and did not show for work the following morning, which he has never done.

Lucas is around 6'4", 36 years old with a strong southern accent.

He was driving a 2019 gray/silver Nissan frontier truck with Louisiana plate Y293967

$50,000 Powerball Prize Split 10 Ways - Local Residents Cash In
Dexter, Missouri - A Missouri Lottery ticket sold in Dexter matched four out of five white-ball numbers and the Powerball number drawn in the Dec. 12 Powerball drawing. The ticket’s $50,000 prize was claimed by a group of 10 Missouri Lottery players. Each winner will receive approximately $5,000 before taxes.

The prize was split between: Ramona Lemons, Cherie Smith, Marrianne Bruce, Tamara Crowley, Tamala Freeman, Lawrence Louder, Donna Morgan and Jacob Williams, all of Dexter; Barbara Illers of Jackson; and Robin Rieffer of Bloomfield.

The winning ticket was purchased at Break Time, 609 N. Catalpa St., in Dexter. The winning Powerball numbers on Dec. 12 were 4, 9, 21, 29 and 64, and the Powerball was 26.
