In Memory of Harold Wayne Gough

Harold Wayne Gough, son of the late Elizabath Leker Gough and John Gough was born on December 3, 1928 in Pittsburg, Kansas and departed this life on January 8, 2019 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 90 years.
Mr. Gough was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, where he retired after 32 years. After retiring, he worked as an Atomic Energy Engineer at Sandia National Laboratory in New Mexico.
On November 19, 1983 he was united in marriage to Florence Louise Swift in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mrs. Gough survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides his wife, he is survived by, two sons, Roy Gough and David Gough; one daughter, Janice Gough; one step-son, James Harrellson (Bennetta) of Dexter, Missouri; two step-daughters, Pamela Harrellson of Austin, Texas and Teresa Huckaby (Ken) of Meansville, Georgia; one sister, Mabel Bartley of Pittsburg, Kansas; and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved their “Poppie” dearly.
Visitation was held at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Graveside services will then be conducted at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
