Essex, Missouri - The Richland Rebels hosted the Advance Hornets on Thursday evening.  Advance won in OT 87-81.

Jack Below scored a game-high 39 points for the Hornets.

ADvance (6-7, SCAA 4-1) led 18-13 at the end of the first period and 38-36 at half-time.  Richland rallied to take a 57- 46 lead at the end of three.  

The Rebels are having a good year with a 7-5 overall record and SCAA record 2-2.

Seth Whittley tallied 17 points, Zach Simm recorded 13 points, and Hunter Curtis finished with 10 points for Advance.

Daniel Petty scored a team-high 30 points for Richland.  Tanner Freeman added 21 and Jackson Bell contributed 18 points.

Richland will travel to Oak Ridge on Tuesday, January 15th.

Advance will travel to Zalma on Tuesday, January 15th.

SCAA Tournament will be seeded this weekend and begin on January 21st - 25th.

Malden, Missouri - The final day of the 2019 Malden Junior Varsity boys basketball tournament will be Saturday, January 12, 2019.

Dexter defeated Kennett and will play in the Championship at 12:30 p.m. against Bernie. 

Bernie Mules defeated Poplar Bluff Mules.

Kennett and Poplar Bluff will battle for third place at 11:15 a.m.

Malden and New Madrid will compete for the 5th place consolation game at 10:00 a.m.
