Kenneth Dale Shelton son of the late Bill Shelton and Ethel Cox Shelton was born on February 11, 1946 in Malden, Missouri and departed this life on January 5, 2019 at the Dexter Living Center at the age of 72.

Mr. Shelton had been a pastor at the Oak Ridge Church of God in Doniphan, the First Church of God in Celina, Tennessee and the First Church of God in Hickman, Kentucky.  He had retired from the maintenance department in the Dexter Hospital.

On June 26, 1964 he was united in marriage to Judy Horn in Bernie, Missouri.  Mrs. Shelton survives of their home in Dexter.

Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Jeffery and wife Billie Shelton of Dexter; by one sister, Billie Jo Alsup of Dexter; by one brother-in-law, Donald Stinson of Broseley, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Kenneth Allen Shelton of San Antonio, Texas and Jennifer Ann Shelton of Dexter and by one great-grandchild, Brayden Stanford.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Norma Shelton, Betty Aslin and Rosanna Stinson.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. 

Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Gerald Fadler officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Sycamore Cemetery.

Samuel Faulkner, son of the late Ernest Faulkner and Minnie Cantrell Faulkner was born on May 7, 1936 in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on January 2, 2019 at his residence in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 82 years.

Mr. Faulkner was a retired Veteran of the United States Army and United States Navy and was a resident of Bloomfield.

Survivors include: one son, Andrew Faulkner and his wife Kalli of Dacula, Georgia; one granddaughter, Maddison Faulkner; one sister, Donna Ruth Ann Faulkner of Oregon.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, Carl Faulkner, George Faulkner, Norman Faulkner, Charles Faulkner, David Faulkner, Gilbert Faulkner and John Vaughn; by four sisters, Beatrice Hester, Geneva Nelson, Virginia Merideth and Joyce Faulkner.

At the request of Mr. Faulkner, a private service will be conducted at a later date.

Allen Lang, son of the late Gustav Lang and Vernis South Lang was born on May 26, 1942 in Cheyenne, Wyoming and departed this life on January 3, 2019 at the Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff at the age of 76.

Mr. Lang was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.  During his service time, he was a helicopter crew chief and flew 350 missions and attained thirteen air medals. 

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, he had attended the Bloomfield Assembly of God Church, First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield and was currently a member of the Battlefield Assembly of God Church. 

While a member at both churches in Bloomfield, he served in the Bus Ministry, making sure members got to and from church.  He founded the Bloomfield First Responders and was a member of the Bloomfield Fire Department as well.  He worked several years at Scisms Motor Company and had retired from Bud Shell Ford in Dexter in 2004.  He enjoyed painting, fishing and being outdoors.

On September 16, 1980 he was united in marriage to Victoria Ballard in Van Buren, Missouri.  Mrs. Lang survives him of the home.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Keith and wife Donna Lang of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Mark and wife Sherry Lang of Dexter; by one daughter, Traci Childers and husband Steven of Success, Missouri; by one step-son, Tony and wife Glenda Martin of Dexter; by one step-daughter, Christy and husband Wade Quick of Springfield, Missouri; by two brothers, James Lang of High Ridge, Missouri and Lawrence Lang of House Springs, Missouri; by one sister, Rosa Lang of Bloomfield; by one sister-in-law, Helen Lang of Dexter; by ten grandchildren, Katelyn Lang, Sarah Lang, Brittany and husband Jacob Madigan, Leah Childers, Amber and husband Nathan Copeland, Steven Childers II, Daniel Quick, Hannah Quick, Samantha and husband Logan Crowley and Shannah Martin, and by three great-grandchildren, Sophie Madigan, Skyler Madigan and Ivie Spener.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Lang.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Richard Orrell officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full Military Honors.

Christine Busick, 68, of Malden, was born on September 11, 1950 in Malden, Missouri to the late Farrel Jake Busick and Clara Harvey Busick. She departed this life on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Ridgeview Living Community in Malden, Missouri. 

Christine Busick was a computer technician for Southwestern Bell and she was a member of the Stokelan Drive Christian Church in Malden.

Her survivors include, Brother: Kenny Busick of Memphis, Tennessee and Sister: Karen Haley & husband, Bobby of Malden.; Great nephew: Nolen Haley of Parma.; Aunt: Barbara Crawford of St. Louis and Uncle: Don Bowman & wife, Lana of Florida; Nephew: Justin Haley & wife, Brandi of Parma. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden from 2-3 P.M.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend Dan Hargrave officiating.

Interment will be in the Rosewood 1st Addition Cemetery in Malden.

Marilyn Ann Tuley, daughter of the late Francis Carl Dodd and Mary Catherine (Hart) Dodd was born May 8, 1932, in St. Louis, MO, and received her heavenly healing at her residence in Dexter, MO, on January 2, 2019, at the age of 86.

Marilyn lived her life for the service of others.  She was a devoted member of Sadlers Chapel Methodist Church near Dexter where she served in countless capacities, a member of Church Women United, and secretary of the Sadlers Chapel Cemetery Board.  She retired from Southwestern Bell (AT&T) and co-owner of Tuley Farm and Home in Dexter. 

She married Everett Tuley on August 30, 1952, at Palmyra, MO, and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2001.  

Mrs. Tuley is survived by her four children:  C.E. Tuley and his wife, Mickey; Karen Stevens and her husband, Tony; Nancy Mayer and her husband, Rob; and Robert Tuley and his wife, Karen, from Shelbina, MO.  She is lovingly remembered by her eleven grandchildren: Jennifer (Josh) Smith; Cory (Jaime) Stevens; Derek (Deana) Stevens; Benjamin (Sydney) Stevens; Jason (Lauren) Mayer; Dustin (Ashley) Mayer; Daniel (Morgan) Mayer; Nathan (Amy) Tuley; Stephanie (Matt) Richards; Catherine (Ramon) Spurlock; Rebecca Tuley; and by twenty great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her six brothers: Tom, Richard, Gene, Bill, Bobby, and David Dodd; and four sisters: Jeanette Baca, Doris Nichols, Janice Shaw, and Joyce Stevens. 

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son in infancy, George Paul Tuley; one granddaughter, Joanna Lee Tuley; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pat Drebenstedt. 

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in the Rainey Mathis Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Fowler officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Sadlers Chapel Cemetery near Dexter.

Memorials may be made to the Sadlers Chapel United Methodist Church or the Sadlers Chapel Cemetery in Dexter.
