In Memory of Kenneth Dale Shelton
Kenneth Dale Shelton son of the late Bill Shelton and Ethel Cox Shelton was born on February 11, 1946 in Malden, Missouri and departed this life on January 5, 2019 at the Dexter Living Center at the age of 72.

Mr. Shelton had been a pastor at the Oak Ridge Church of God in Doniphan, the First Church of God in Celina, Tennessee and the First Church of God in Hickman, Kentucky.  He had retired from the maintenance department in the Dexter Hospital.

On June 26, 1964 he was united in marriage to Judy Horn in Bernie, Missouri.  Mrs. Shelton survives of their home in Dexter.

Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Jeffery and wife Billie Shelton of Dexter; by one sister, Billie Jo Alsup of Dexter; by one brother-in-law, Donald Stinson of Broseley, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Kenneth Allen Shelton of San Antonio, Texas and Jennifer Ann Shelton of Dexter and by one great-grandchild, Brayden Stanford.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Norma Shelton, Betty Aslin and Rosanna Stinson.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. 

Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Gerald Fadler officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Sycamore Cemetery.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
