In Memory of Marilyn Ann Tuley
Marilyn Ann Tuley, daughter of the late Francis Carl Dodd and Mary Catherine (Hart) Dodd was born May 8, 1932, in St. Louis, MO, and received her heavenly healing at her residence in Dexter, MO, on January 2, 2019, at the age of 86.

Marilyn lived her life for the service of others.  She was a devoted member of Sadlers Chapel Methodist Church near Dexter where she served in countless capacities, a member of Church Women United, and secretary of the Sadlers Chapel Cemetery Board.  She retired from Southwestern Bell (AT&T) and co-owner of Tuley Farm and Home in Dexter. 

She married Everett Tuley on August 30, 1952, at Palmyra, MO, and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2001.  

Mrs. Tuley is survived by her four children:  C.E. Tuley and his wife, Mickey; Karen Stevens and her husband, Tony; Nancy Mayer and her husband, Rob; and Robert Tuley and his wife, Karen, from Shelbina, MO.  She is lovingly remembered by her eleven grandchildren: Jennifer (Josh) Smith; Cory (Jaime) Stevens; Derek (Deana) Stevens; Benjamin (Sydney) Stevens; Jason (Lauren) Mayer; Dustin (Ashley) Mayer; Daniel (Morgan) Mayer; Nathan (Amy) Tuley; Stephanie (Matt) Richards; Catherine (Ramon) Spurlock; Rebecca Tuley; and by twenty great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her six brothers: Tom, Richard, Gene, Bill, Bobby, and David Dodd; and four sisters: Jeanette Baca, Doris Nichols, Janice Shaw, and Joyce Stevens. 

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son in infancy, George Paul Tuley; one granddaughter, Joanna Lee Tuley; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pat Drebenstedt. 

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in the Rainey Mathis Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Fowler officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Sadlers Chapel Cemetery near Dexter.

Memorials may be made to the Sadlers Chapel United Methodist Church or the Sadlers Chapel Cemetery in Dexter.
