Bloomfield, Missouri - The #2 ranked Bernie Mules came out on top against the Kennett Indians 52-47 in a quarterfinal game at the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament on Thursday, December 27, 2018.
At the end of the first quarter Bernie led Kennett 12-7, by halftime they increased their lead to 25-15 and by the beginning of the fourth quarter had a nice lead of 41 - 30.
Weston Zoll recorded a game-high 14 points for Bernie. He also had two 3-pointers.
Kennett had three players in double digits. Quayv'aun Harrell tallied 13, La'Quez Pulliam had 10 and Jackson Henfling added 13.
Kennett will play Dexter in a semifinal match-up for 5th place at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018.
Bernie will play Twin Rivers at 8:30 p.m. on Friday evening.
