In Memory of Willadene Fulkerson
Willadene Fulkerson of Bloomfield, daughter of the late George and Beryl Asbell Cook, was born near Bloomfield, Missouri on November 3, 1917, passed away at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau on December 21, 2018, at the age of 101 years, 1 month and 18 days.

Willadene had lived in the St. Louis and Bloomfield areas all her life. She had worked as an LPN, was a member of the Mt. Pisgah General Baptist Church and had been a member of the Easter Star in Bloomfield.

On March 9, 1938, she was married to Ralph Harold Fulkerson in Bloomfield. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1980.

Surviving are one daughter, Hilda VanNatta of St. Charles, Missouri; two sons and wives, Jim & Paula Fulkerson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Ray & Sondra Fulkerson of Cape Girardeau; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; one brother, Cloyd Cook of Poplar Bluff; and one sister, Mary Lois Hamann of St. Charles, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, J. T. Cook; two sisters, Margaret Stafford and Leauna Link.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 after 11:30 a.m., until time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Chaplain Elijah Allen of Marble Hill officiating.

Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Charity of your choice.

In Memory of Kathleen Wamble
Kathleen Wamble of Essex, daughter of the late William Earl Wannall and Alice Rozelle Stewart Wannall Miller, was born in Riverdale, Maryland on September 13, 1943, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center on December 22, 2018, at the age of 75 years, 3 months and 9 days.

She had lived in Essex for many years. She had worked as a secretary for Lemons Landfill and attended the Harvest Assembly of God Church in Essex.

On January 15, 1971, she was married to Earl F. "Butch" Wamble in Dexter, Missouri.

Surviving are her husband, Earl F. "Butch" Wamble of Essex, one son and wife, Charles "Chuck" & Chrissy Wamble of Cuba, Missouri; one daughter, Laura "Betsy" Wamble of Essex, Missouri; three brothers, Franklin E. Wannall of Orlando, Florida, Charles J. Miller of Ventura, California, John Harrison of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; one cousin she thought of as a sister, Norma Schools of North Carolina. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Lana A. Francis and one brother, Orville Miller, Jr.

Friends may visit Thursday, December 27, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Bro. Junior Cagle of Bloomfield officiating.

Interment with be in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Mildred Ilene Moore
Mildred Ilene Moore, daughter of the late Joseph Parker and Betty McKeel Parker, was born on May 5, 1930 in Parma, Missouri and departed this life on Monday, December 24, 2018 in Warrensburg, Missouri at the age of 88 years.

Mrs. Moore was a former die cutter for Elder Manufacturing, was a former pastor of Link Community Church and was a member of the Dudley Community Church.

On February 4, 1949, she was united in marriage to Roy Yewell “Bob” Moore in Piggott, Arkansas.  Mr. Moore preceded her in death on September 25, 2013.

She is survived by one daughter, Twanda Moore of Knob Noster, Missouri; by one sister, Georgia McElyea of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and by nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Lynn Ash officiating. 

interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

In Memory of Bob Girtman
Bob Girtman of Clarkton, son of the late Donald Gene and Nadine Girtman, was born in Lilbourn, Missouri on October 12, 1958, and passed away at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau on December 21, 2018, at the age of 60 years, 2 months and 9 days.

Bob had lived in St. Louis and moved to Clarkton in 2005. He had worked manufacturing windows and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

He was first married to Linda Sue Rose, who survives of St. Louis. He later married Donna Sue Cole, who survives of Clarkton.

Surviving are three daughters and husbands, Laticia & Wesley Ussery of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Melissa Girtman of Brookville, Florida, Victoria and Jimmy Carpenter of Festus, Missouri; one son, Bobby Girtman of Clarkton, Missouri; one step-daughter, Marie Jones of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three grandchildren, Kaitlin Manees, Kyle Manees, Sierra Cousins, two step-grandchildren, Marissa & Beth Jones; two brothers, Billy Corbitt and Giacomo Ghianni; six sisters, Roxanne Cash, Teresa Buckner, Tina Corbitt, Shawntell Million, Janice Hernandez and Sue Wells. Other family and friends also survive.

Friends may visit at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, after 12:00 p.m. until time for Services at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Edward Hill
Edward Hill of Bell City, Missouri, son of the late Edmond William and Minnie Asher Hill, was born in Potosi, Missouri on February 10, 1935, passed away at his daughter's home in Richland, Missouri on December 14, 2018, at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 4 days.

Edward had lived in St. Louis and Dexter before moving to Bell City in 1994. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and had been a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, watching birds and going to the casino.

He was married to Juanita Hubbard and to this union two children were born.

Surviving are two daughters and husbands, Janet & David Cox of Ponce De Leon, Florida, Kelly & Jerry Hill of Richland, Missouri; two granddaughters and husbands; Stacy & Chris Simmering of Ft. Walton, Florida, Jodie & Jim Lacy of Bell City, Missouri; six great grandchildren, Devin, Macie, Jordyn, Bo, Zack, and Riley; one sister, Irene Kitchell of Navarre, Florida. Numerous relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Kitchell.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 after 11:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.  Services were held at 1:00 p.m., with Keith Kinder of Sikeston officiating.

Interment followed in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors. Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
